As a supporter of Yang myself, I was at first scared that his new support from the far-right would mean the end to his campaign, but luckily I have come to realize that the purpose of yang gang isn’t to actually elect the first Asian president, but is simply a shitpost to fuck Trump and demoralize his base so that he loses in 2020.
It isn’t even about the UBI, which many of the NEETs on this board could really put to use to bootstrap some form of associate-level education for themselves. They simply feel betrayed by Trump’s recent flip on legal immigration, and even this major change in domestic policy was a mere straw that broke the camel’s back. Remember when he chose Kushner over Brannon within the first few months of his presidency?
