I think I misread your question... The reason why it happens is because Jow Forums had this weird rule -- they prohibit posting via VPN / Proxy servers. This is explicitly stated in Jow Forums terms of service.
It looks like they trace known vpn IP addresses and ban them all.

That's pretty draconian, if you ask me, and stinks of authoritarian dictatorship...

I use IPVanish. This one is supposed to be one of the best ones. No logs, Fast speed yadayadayada you know basic shit. But in the past 2 years all those "expert IT fags" who made list on IT sites almost always kicked NordVPN on #1 while IPVanish fucking vanished

I use PIA. Subbed up one month and they never gave me a reason to unsub. No copyright emails since. Bretty reliable and gud speeds, I can torrent usually around a 3 mbps, but I've had impressive 10+ mbps nights too. Cant really game or stream HD videos on it, ofc. But never experienced hiccups, downtimes, or w/e.

Please correct me if wrong, but if you buy Jow Forums PASS, it gets linked to a particular IP address, so you will be able to post only from this IP --- this means you will not be able to use arbitrary VPN servers...

You can get a specific IP from NordVpN, but this kind of contradicts the very reason of using VPN ...

Apparently if you use firefox and do this, you don't need a VPN.

It all depends on your budget. I would advise against PIA because they're based in the US and have shit speeds. I would recommend nordvpn, but I dropped them when they started to aggressively advertise their VPN, but it can still be a good cheap vpn if you don't want to spend too much.

If you want to post on Jow Forums, you're going to need to buy a pass because most vpns are banned.

NordVPN is trustworthy as far as I know. Fast, reliable, don't keep logs (very important), you can pay with crypto, they have never worked with authorities (even if they are forced, they literally don't keep ANY identifiable info about users).

This is what I use too. it's only a couple dollars and completely worth paying rather than risking a free one.

Initial ISP will do back to LogicWeb or other ISP. They can sometimes identify their customer as PIA, but PIA doesn't have anything.

We can submit a name and payment source to determine if someone has had PIA before, but that's meaningless. Same holds true for NordVPN
