Are you literally using "1.1.1.1", or "1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com"? If you use the latter, you'll have to resolve it using... your O2 DNS servers...

as somebody pretty computer illiterate, does a VPN as simple as downloading it and running it? Also, is it like Tor, where you can open it as a browser, so that if something for some reason wasn't available through the VPN you could use your normal browser and go through your normal ISP to get it, or will all of your internet functions go through the VPN once it's installed?
