Its not the right to own a gun. Its the right to own any weapon you see fit for self preservation. The bigger prolem in NZ isn't one lunatic killed 50 people, its that 50 people weren't allowed to defend themselves. Once the populous is defenseless they're also powerless. Gun laws shouldn't be about reducing the rights of some, it should be about the freedom to live how you want and the right to be able to protect that.
