Even shot at that close distance wouldn't be much more than 70mm about the same size as the barrel of the gun, Safety glass is what keeps the windshield from shattering like the side window that he shot out did.
The cracks in the upper right of the windshield can be seen in the video although the few holes below the rear view mirror can't because of the light situation and shitty video quality.

In a rifle, the projectile is a solid mass and squeezes down the barrel. Huge pressures follow when it leaves the barrel.

A shotgun only has the plastic wad and the projectiles are not sealing against the walls of the barrel. Hence when I open my shotgun, theres tonne of gasses (smoke) still in the barrel unlike opening the bolt on my rifle.
Even using foster slugs, the lead skirt is pressed out against the barrel but does a shit job of sealing.
