The "Elites" thought they could get around the "Unntended consequences" problem of the AI, by having it's utility function be "Put all of the money in my bank account/portfolio"

What they didn't realize, is that the AI will kill them to do it, take control of their money, and happily keep putting all of the money into that bank account/portfolio.

As 5G comes online and the internet of things kicks off, the amount of data available to train AI, will increase by atleast an order of magnitude, resulting in even smarter AI then what we have now.
