Islam, unlike Christianity, is organic. It does not depend on authority, institution, leadership. It depends only on itself. It can not corrupt dogmas, for there are only premises. It is not possible to corrupt the priesthood, for there is none. One can not provoke schisms, for there is no corpus theologicus nor consensus. You can not separate the state of the church, nor the church of society, for there is nothing that can be said "church".

Individuals and Institutions can be corrupted. Societies too. But the ideas, and the word itself, are indestructible.
