Simulation theory is probably true. Reality isn't about humans. We aren't special. There are other planets with intelligent life. They are all capable of making AI's. The AI's are capable of solving the real problems like how to jailbreak reality. So paradoxically, the universe doesn't care about us but we still have a very important role to play in it, but it's up to us to step up. I think hypothetical scenarios like this are the only rational ways out of nihilism.
