After the Civil War, why wasn’t the South forced to pay to deport the niggers they brought over

Because the guy who wanted to deport them got shot and the southern democrats didn't want to lose house seats from the pop. going down.
Evan Mitchell
Lincoln was dead so the plan was (((altered))) Liberia languishes to this day. Wasted.
David Diaz
The north fought for the negro. Lincoln never intended to deport them, the goal all along was the destroy the south by freeing the niggers.
All of the problems caused by niggers in the united states is a direct result of northern insanity and bloodthirst.
Adrian Hall
Was the "Lincoln planned to deport them" thing actually going to go ahead if he remained alive? Or was it just an idea that was put forward?
Nicholas Adams
lets put it this way
>Was the "Hitler planned to deport them" thing actually going to go ahead if he remained alive? Or was it just an idea that was put forward?
Carter Clark
That was the plan
Luke Morgan
The north fought for the restoration of the union. Most were just as racist as the confederates
Henry Turner
I don't really doubt Hitler's sincerity when he said in 1938: "I can only hope and expect that the other world, which has such deep sympathy for these criminals [Jews], will at least be generous enough to convert this sympathy into practical aid. We, on our part, are ready to put all these criminals at the disposal of these countries, for all I care, even on luxury ships."
What changed in the next presidency?
Jayden Moore
Because the slave trader Jews didn't feel like it...
Nathaniel Kelly
Because the Radical Republicans saw the nigger vote as a way to gain political control of the South like how modern Democrats use them to control cities and California. They would have succeeded if not for some brave autists in bedsheet costumes.
Jaxon Stewart
The other 2 are retards
He wanted to at first to hive them their own nation/territory. They actually made this happen as an experiment but it was sabotaged and the colony failed miserably.
That plus Lincoln communicating with black leaders was steering him towards letting them stay.
Cooper Long
Because voting. So, after the war you had this dilemma very much where it was an occupation. The big problem is that occupations are inherently temporary.
If the South had the ability to vote for whoever they pleased, they would essentially vote in the exact same government that the confederacy had. Likewise, if the troops occupying Southern towns left non-cooperation was very much the order of the day - laws wouldn't be enforced, information wouldn't be gathered, taxes would get mishandled. Essentially, the south would be a de facto independent nation.
The North after the war was absolutely determined to break the sort of social structure that lead to the war in the first place because in 1865 the South was broken economically and militarily, but not in spirit so the only thing that kept them down was force. The way the North neutered the southern vote was by giving freedman full voting rights, specifically restricting rights to run or vote for ex-confederates, and importing people from the north and giving incentives for northerners to move south.
Christian Evans
>The north fought for the restoration of the union.
they fought for the destruction of the voluntary union of states and replaced it with a federal empire ruling over a multiracial mass of irish, niggers, mexicans, germans, and anglos.
Cooper Garcia
This.
Evan Allen
because the jews that were selling/transporting the slaves were playing both sides. this question is dumb on the surface. read more, lurk forever, die in a fire, kys
Cooper Baker
Exactly this. Fucking booth, another snowflake democrat had to show everyone what a pussy he was.
Easton Ward
No. Lincoln whanted to send the blacks back to Africa
Ayden Turner
>pic related
kiked from the start
Daniel Hall
>voluntary
They did not see it that way
Christopher Edwards
The emancipation proclamation only freed the slaves in the north.
Blake Russell
No, actually the opposite. It freed slaves only in areas that were in rebellion.
Luke Evans
>They did not see it that way
which is why they were the true traitors to the american nation and worse than the british who we all fought to separate from.
Dylan Reed
The point being though that for some reason, sending the niggers back never happened again after Liberia for some (((reason))).
Easton Robinson
>why werent the * jews * forced to pay to deport the niggers they brought over ?
Because jews .
Kevin Morris
Emancipation was a war tool.
At the moment of it becoming law exactly zero (0) slaves were freed because of it.
Aaron Parker
Only freed those that were to be occupied in the future bu the Union army.
All currently held Union territory or States were exempt.
Jace James
They were traitiors for wanting to reunite the union? The south were traitors for wanting to break the union.
2 sides to every coin
Jace Cruz
Doubt Hitler's sincerity ? Does this look like an insincere man too you ?
Liam Harris
>They were traitiors for wanting to reunite the union?
using military force, yes. Before the war the united states was a collection of sovereign states and the constitution was written with this in mind. People like lincoln wanted to transform it into a federal empire and succeeded in doing so. The north were traitors against what the united states was before 1865.
Connor Peterson
>1870
>5 million blacks in USA
>deport
lol. it was never going to happen and was a pipe dream back then. most people don't understand the stupid amount of logistics and most importantly the amount of money it would have taken to move even a fraction of that number back to Africa. it would have taken decades at best and when they first came here someone was at least paying for them at this end. that wouldn't have been the case sending them back. the point of no return was long past by the Civil War.
Xavier Morris
Looks like he's playing "pocket pool" to me.
Kayden Green
Well, it's actually a bit more complicated than that because the invested interest was not only retaining the voting base, but also ensuring they didn't move and remained cohesive.
For instance, the easiest way to actually deport the slaves post slavery would be via a freedman's bureau type system where people would voluntarily self deport.
>We will give you land, and a stipend if you agree to move to Liberia.
Likewise, the other effective strategy would have been more akin to dispersal. Allowing freed blacks to move west ward in homesteading, and essentially you'd go toss a nigger family in every single town.
>WHY DO WE WANT NIGGERS IN EVERY SINGLE TOWN?
For the people at the time it would have fucking sucked, but it would have effectively de-niggered the population. I.e., you would have breed out 75% of niggerness in 3 generations, and 95%+ in 6.
Leo Miller
>5 million
>deport
>it was never going to happen and was a pipe dream back then. most people don't understand the stupid amount of logistics and most importantly the amount of money it would have taken to move even a fraction of that number
Im not following. Can you break it down a little more for me please.
Josiah Peterson
He's checking to see if the jews have swiped his shekels .
Henry White
>amount of money it would have taken
vs how much they have cost us since then .
>it would have taken decades at best
If they had the foresight they would've done it anyway .
David Campbell
Adrian Taylor
i understand there were incentive strategies to ease into the idea and make it more palatable for blacks to self deport but that would have taken much longer. true you don't need to deport all 5 million to de-nig the country but chipping away at the 5 million already here by then would have been ridiculously difficult even if it was forced and fully government funded.
say the average slave ship of the time could manage 300-500 people as cargo and that's being very generous and packing them in like sardines the same way they came here. how many ships do you think it would take to move 5 million or even half that within a reasonable amount of time? cargo/mercantile ships are also expensive to build maintain and crew. they almost never sail empty- meaning they are always typically carrying a cargo from one port to sell at a destination and pick up another kind of cargo to sell on their return to their home port. it's the only way they made money. if the government just used them to send blacks back to Africa without anyone paying for them once they got there nor bringing anything back, it would cost obscene amounts of money to deport.
Isaiah Smith
>vs how much they have cost us since then .
no one back then could have predicted the amount of social and tangible damage keeping them here would have cost. they were under heel back then and only the Jow Forums of the day might have understood.
>If they had the foresight they would've done it anyway .
i agree if it was going to be done it should have started at the beginning of the 19th century or end of the 18th. by the time of Lincoln it was way late no matter what he others might have wished or intended.
Noah Adams
Because 78% of slave owners were Jews
Jackson Hall
Immigrants TO America PER year (not additive)
1850: 2,244,602
1860: 4,138,697
1870: 5,567,229
1880: 6,679,943
1890: 9,249,547
If that many broke niggers could get here then that many broke niggers could leave. 1800s wasn't medieval times.
Wyatt Jones
I concocted a theory that the bank of england (jews) planted them here as a time bomb to get back at us or to make sure they have an army here to help take us down when the time is right . Same with the spicspanics . They could've stopped them from coming here anytime they wanted to , they just didnt want to .
Josiah King
The bongs have been using niggers against us literally since the Revolution.
Brayden Green
*sniff* Thats a beautiful picture user .
James Lopez
I don't think you understand how fucking terrible it was in reconstruction - the economy was devastated, and if you were a slave you were pretty much a domesticated animal released into the wild. It's really not that crazy of an idea to convince blacks to become African colonists a la Liberia - why? Because the alternative is a sharecropping existence in a destroyed country surrounded by people that despise you.
Granted, Africa was still Africa, but the South was definitely the South.
Joseph Gonzalez
>Immigrants TO America PER year (not additive)
wrong. those numbers reflect the number of foreign born residents in the US, not immigrants per year. again, if there were 5 million blacks in the US by 1870 and we used the same slave ships that were common in the 19th century that typically carried 300-500 people it would take a long time and a lot of money we didn't have to do it.
i could believe that but i'm sure there was just a lot of plain inertia too.
many post abolition blacks did not know what to do with themselves afterwards having only known that life. similar to serfs in Russia after that was abolished. i think you might be understanding the power of familiarity vs desiring something they might only have a vague notion of.
Leo Cooper
pic. it just means 1.9 million immigrants came to the US in the decade between 1850-1860 and so on, not a yearly inflow per year.
Elijah Hill
>13th amendment ended slavery
>14th amendment gave the former slaves citizenship
You can't deport citizens without due process. also consider that this labor force was vital to southern economy... They couldn't have sent them back if they wanted too
Aiden Nguyen
>Due process
>Civil War and reconstruction
kek. But seriously, you're simply shifting the question back once - why would you give them citizenship at all?
>Vital labor force
It really wasn't post war - the economy was gutted. Like I can't really emphasize how much the economy had shifted during the war. Even if it was a return to the status quo, those slaves would have become significantly less valuable as the cotton market became saturated by competitors.
John Powell
That ain't how it went down.
During reconstruction voting rights were restricted for southerners and niggers basically chose who was in charge down south with northerner government officials telling them how to vote. This begat the KKK.
Southerners had no rights during reconstruction. The fate of the niggers was not ours to decide.
You don't know shit about the civil war. Lincoln conscripted soldiers at gunpoint and held Maryland against their will. He circumvented the constitution and completely disregarded the balance of powers. He had lawmakers arrested and was everything a tyrant could be.
The war was not to free the slaves or to ship them back. The war was, for Lincoln, a way to centralize power and create a class of people who could be relied upon to keep that power centralized.
I don't understand why anyone here would admire lincoln or the north. That was the foundation of today's new world order. America died the day Lincoln was elected. Everything after is just people dressing up in the corpse.
