It also provided a was to subsidize Israel (reparations, huge bonus) and it replaced Christ's death and atonement as the West's chief taboo (a second huge bonus, if you hate Christ).
If you really want a TL:DR on the Holocaust's absurdities, go read a book called "Breaking the Spell: Holocaust Myth and Reality" by Dr. Nick Kollerstrom, a forensic chemist who set out to disprove deniers and wound up becoming one. His book is the most accessible for anyone that doesn't have the time to read a tome on the subject. He was fired at the University College London just for beginning his work (someone must have known where his work would lead him).
However, if you are a poorfag and want to read a free book, google "Giant With Feet of Clay," the book is available for free in PDF format all over the internet, and is considered the original major work disproving the Holocaust.
