countries cannot prosper without their citizens. If the country prospers, they have to reinvest into the country which means investing into their citizens. as the citizens prosper the country maintains its prosperity or even increases it.

If a country becomes successful but then doesn't reinvest that success into building the nation, that country will fall. It's been seen time and time again, while countries that focus on nation building which increases citizens quality of life stays successful.
