I think it is for the same reason many here hate him, but it manifests differently due to the lefts aims. He basically plays the same game the left does (why a lot of the people here hate him), just better (why globalists like him), thus he acts as a kind of competitor for the elite's favour (why the left hates him).

Under Peterson morality, you are morally prohibited from defending yourself. Under SJW morality, you are morally obliged to defend others. In many ways the Peterson types are actually worse, since they claim their aim is to "elevate individual agency", while at least the SJWs are typically honest about their opposition to voluntary association and disassociation.

In reality, anyone can be a victim, but the only person that can be relied upon to defend you is yourself. There is nothing "anti individual" about organizing for self defence. It's literally an economic exchange. Any efforts I take in defending myself from my enemies have value to others seeking to defend themselves from the same enemies. Victim entitlement and Victim denial are corresponding opposite extremes.
