def brave new world
neither
They both describe the same program of authoritarian eugenics and transhumanism
Everybody stuck on their somaslabs. Sexual degeneracy and the fall of marriage. Child birth seen as negative. Low IQ underclasses for menial labour.
it’s a mix, but bnw is coming with harsh affect. by 2050 the nwo will have sheeple soma’d and zombied to their ends only
BNW is for the proles, 1984 for wrongthinkers and people who aren't on welfare.
It's more a mix of the two rather than one or the other imho ttwagos.
Majority BNW, with some 1984 Surveillance/Big Brother in Euroland and Commonwealth shitholes
BNW. Though the linguistic techniques of newspeak from 1984 are being used to but that was also a thing in BNW.
>literally boomer: the books
>literally I suck dicks: the post
A surveillance state with porn substituting as soma? Whoulda' thunk?
both books are tavistock
go back at sucking Moroccan dicks frog
Brave new world in terms of information
1984 in terms of leftist "social justice"
Both
this guy gets it
We are in a Black Mirror mixed with Idiocracy phase now.
it depends on the nation
brave new world for some, 1984 for others
I'd say it's a mix. 1984 is more accurate when it comes to ideology and control of the narrative by an intellectual elite, whereas BNW describes very well how the excessive amount of pleasure is making the common people tame and numb.

Get on my level and read Yevgeny Zamyatin's "We" - which predates both 1984 and Brave New World.
Both the systems of the real world and 1984 are bound to collapse into anarchy within a century.
It's an interesting combination of both that is worse than either.
>Idiocracy
I didn't like that movie when it came out. Thought it was stupid and crude.
Little did I know I'd end up living in it.
Funny story, I actually became a pharmacy technician a few years ago and maybe a week before I had read “a brave new world”. I was shocked to find that there is a drug actually named soma. It was even more shocking (or perhaps disappointing) that nobody understood the sad irony of it.
both, you live under an oligarchy who watch over you but in the same time, you think you're free and your vote matter. you carry a smartphone, you are being watched, heard and see 24/7 by your phone.
When you're not happy, you take drugs to make you happy, ( anti depression drugs, for example). There are proxy wars all over the world, there are only for destroying old stuff and making new stuff.
>i've never read a book before!
imagine your entire worldview being crafted by a japanese anime board. by the way show your flag you pussy
My nigga! I said that too. My waifu saids it's all 3 wrapped together.
hello boomer, what are you doing this far away from facebook?
both retard
A smorgasbord of both of those titles, The Camp of the Saints, Fahrenheit 451, and Harrison Bergeron.
Both of them
Huxley
Orwel's doublethink describe leftists perfectly.
1984 was a very poor and crude attempt at prediction. That people believe that it is coming true is another sign of how easily deluded people are. The nightmare that we are in is a lot more subtle.
