do things that will make you change this opinion, it is a bad one if you want to have a girlfriend or even a good life, i think. meet the right people. socialize with people like you, perhaps. i think most people find their friends through school, employment and/or the local community. hard to give any exact advice on this really, things just happen. join groups maybe, like book/film clubs, maybe take some classes, self-defense or something artistic. i've met friends while hiking on foot paths of all things.
