Its a beautiful State. Great weather, good produce. Its a real paradise.
Used to be the most Conservative and Pro Gun state in the Union. Then Leftists started to take over high pop areas like LA. Once they were able they elected Supreme Court Justices who then declared that voter ID laws are unconstitutional. Immediately after this the state shifted hard blue and its been blue ever since.
The countryside is full or Right Wing coastal cowboy types. A mixture of ranching culture and surfing culture. Everyone hates Leftists in the countryside.
You can clearly see this in our election results. Local elections are invariably Red but State elections are always Blue because of LA and Sacramento

Work in the Bay Area and can tell you for a fact that people in the metropolitan areas (that work in retail, usually hipster scum) are outright unfriendly towards me because so-called whiteness actually is stigmatized here. Other than that things aren’t terrible if you tune out the bullshit. I own few guns and shoot on BLM land and ski in Tahoe semi regularly. I’ve also taken up powerlifting to (hopefully) unload on the freaks and homeless that act like entitled little brats and outright assault people in public. Just waiting for the right moment.

You forgot about the libs running the state. They spent billions on a pointless rail system that is going to run along a major highway in an area with no major cities. The roads in California are absolute dog shit, there's trash everywhere and Mexican let's their dogs run free and never neuter/spay them.
