The last time I checked VAERS (3/16/18) for Gardasil adverse events there were 412 deaths and 20,096 serious adverse events (life-threatening or permanent disability).

When there was no vaccine in the 50's the measles mortality was 300-400/year according to the CDC. Breakdowns are not known, but it is likely that most of the deaths were in people with other high mortality risks.
