There are three levels of redpilling, at least in my American experience.
1. The Bluepill. No awareness whatsoever of the manner in which society is really structured. Heavy consumption of popular media and mainstream news outlets. Bluepillers opt for pre-packaged, corporate political ideologies, like neoconservatism or center-leftism. Highly alarmed by conspiratorial thinking and any suggestions that people may not all be equal, because these are signals that go directly against their programming.
2. The Pseudo-Redpill. A state of incomplete social awareness of the superstructures imposing their will on society. This is where people who refer to themselves as "redpilled" traditionally fall. However, the redpill is actually the pseudo-redpill for two reasons:
1) It is incomplete. People at this level do not comprehend all structures imposing their will on society: they only comprehend a specific subset that fits their preconceived ideologies. For example, MRAs and the like focus heavily on gynocentrism but do not think about how corporations have fucked our society, or they may actually think corporate capitalism is a good thing. Similarly, hard-left socialists a-la Bernie are "psuedo-redpilled" because they see the damage caused by corporatization but don't acknowledge gynocentrism
2) It is overly optimistic. Pseudo-redpillers persist in a naive belief that the system as it exists now can be changed. They haven't really attempted to grasp how deeply rooted our present social structures are. Discarding them would be the equivalent of discarding the modern world itself. Pseudo-redpillers persist in the vain delusion that they have more influence or agency than others.
And finally, the final stage....
3. The blackpill. This is where you see and comprehend just how much social and economic superstructures control and exploit the population. (to be continued)

This is a classic rhetoric technique where you take something which in reality is continuous and doesn't neatly fit into categories and pretend it's a process - the point being to claim superiority since wherever you are in the process is of course the "higher" or more progressed state (as defined by you). Redpill, blackpill, normie, etc are not discrete things. They are modes of being which exist in varying amounts in all of us and vacillate over time.
Memes are symbols cut from the fabric of being, the same as we do with language. They point to something - an experience, a feeling, a perspective - but they are not "things" as such. Using language in the way you do is an act of bad faith. Saying someone is "clownpilled" is like saying they are loud or that they smell nice. It's misleading. You'e pretending phenomenological experiences are discrete categories found in nature.
