Remember The Simpsons? That hilarious cartoon from the 90s that you used to love?
Remember The Simpsons? That hilarious cartoon from the 90s that you used to love?
>that you used to love
what kind of fucking idiot ever enjoyed that drivel?
Idk I only like the ytp made from it
Who even watch this shit nowdays
I never did love the simpsons. In fact, the only "adult" cartoons I've ever liked were Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill. And some early Adult Swim stuff.
Simpsons, FG, and SP are all trash.
The first few seasons of South Park were pretty good
back when the Simpsons was good...
Cant be counter culture when you become the mainstream. The Simpsons wasnt good in a vacuum, it was good in the 90s. The culture, current events and the state of prime time television made this lightning in a bottle that could only exist under the circumstances of the times. If you made the simpsons today itd look more like KotH with poor people.
Batman The Animated Series has some really stellar episodes with mature themes for a show that played at 4pm on Fox Kids. King of the Hill is great for the most part. One of my favorites is HBO's Spawn.
Thats not only the usual drivel, its actually pretty retarded, since Bart is a chronic looser, if anything, they should put him in a Pepe T-Shirt and send him out to bomb the Quick-E-Mart, while Hoomer is buying his Sips
The Simpsons should have ended when the movie came out.
The Simpsons has been terrible for far longer than it was ever good.
Chuck's fuck and suck
Oy Vey
Bart is a cuck.
>come to Jow Forums more often after the election to see the victory party

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH*BREATHES*AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I havent watched tv in like 5 years.
Lol it's always the Jews. Enough to make a man crack and let the red liquids flow.
Crack a can of red monster that is.
television isn't worth watching
sneed
I'm actually gonna watch it before I judge it.
Doing so now.
Television is gonna die soon because everything is leftist. And the internet is next when they succeed in banning right wingers from here too. They wont learn until the only person listening to them is their pitiful mothers.
bump.
>tfw I haven't watched cable since I moved out of my parents house in 2008
>tfw I don't pay for kikeflix or jewlu either
>tfw using VPN and ad/script blockers all the time
>tfw I just download the one piece of media that's actually entertaining every three months or so, and Hollywood never sees a fucking cent of my money
>mfw watching based anime that don't give a fuck about sjw bullshit and fapping to an infinite supply of perfect 2D titties
No wonder why Bob's Burgers is kinda relatable. Thier family is poor as shit.
>the absolute state of whites
I thought it was a decent episode. Made me laugh, Lisa got stuffed because she didn’t get to actually help but Bart her stupid brother did. Bart only does it for the accelerationism because of the femms way of dealing with things, and they also laugh at the stupid anarcho-fems. It’s a parody, anyone who can’t see that is just retarded. Simpson’s at this point is just trying to do everything they can, because why the fuck not?
And what state should I be in? Greedily sucking down every shred of propaganda the kikes want to feed me, jerking off to 3DPD blacked porn, while paying them for the privilege? Gas yourself.
This is why I don't watch (((western))) entertainment. It's ALL propaganda in some way. I only read some manga and watch an anime here and there. At least nip stuff is actually meant to be entertaining
>2019
>Expecting something good to be on TV on channels that don't just play reruns of old shows
Not realistic
Formerly Sneed
It was good for like the first 10 years or so.
Absolutely. You need to be constantly supporting the industry.
Take the normie pill.
Ugh, put it away. This shit is making me sick.
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
the last good episode of the simpsons
Every single time, cazzo
for me i stopped watching when flanders wife was killed
dead show my niggers.
This. If you think the Simpsons wasn't always liberal propaganda to erode the family unit then you still don't understand.
Made by the Jews too.
it exposed degenerate american way of living
i would say it was pretty based
i dont get it
The first 8 seasons were good.
What exists now is a corpse that should have been put down decades ago.
What's interesting is one of the best writers of the show was really conservative but he put his political beliefs aside and wrote objectively brilliant episodes.
A very different time.
>watching the Simpsons after 2002
Literally
here's a joke a they would never make today

This except 8 years earlier than that.
I am a pretty chronic fan of the Simpsons, to a point where it's more than I'd like to admit. However, I only recognize seasons 2-9. The entire original writing staff had all left after season 9. It doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever to change the writers for anything, ever.
Simpsons should have ended the season before they killed Maud
AHHHHH WHY WON'T IT STOP
>Changes the writers, the ones carrying the show
>Keeps the overpaid voice actors that keep asking for more money every season
They are so fucking retarded
They're like in season 30 or something. Of course they're gonna start joining the cabal of woke politics to stay relevant.
People born in the 80s.
Apparently the death of Maud was one of the turning points in the shows lifetime, and for some reason is associated with the death of the show. The same thing happened in the episode 'The Principal and the Pauper' from season 9, where they basically retroactively ruined the character of Seymore Skinner. Fuck tons of people hated both of these events.
I think Maud died in season 9 to be fair.
Based Nelson kek
Shitty jokes abound. Megas XLR has much better material. The episode with that regenerating bot voiced by Michael Dorn is comedy gold.
You gotta keep both to keep the show going truthfully.
the previous episode had a great joke too
>If I win this tournament I'll be the most successful female gamer ever! Or if I lose too!
I remember being sad when they made Apu an adulterer for no reason.
The voice actors are all stuck in a ridiculous contract that doesn't expire until like 2050 or something. Not sure on the exact year but I know they're stuck doing it for life, due to Fox. The voices all fucking suck now too, they all sound like they're shouting all the time.
But if you have to choose between those you, you should prioritize the writers, otherwise you end up with this message that lasted for 20 years
Even Krusty in this episode says at 2:30
> That movie were superman was a chick made a megillion of shekels
>Batman The Animated Series has some really stellar episodes with mature themes for a show that played at 4pm on Fox Kids
Great stories and great animation.
both sides are primed and used against the other. much like with racism, sexism, gender "politics".
Truly disgusting creatures.
Oh shit yeah, with the Squishee lady, wasn't it? It's been a while since I saw that one, but seeing characters I like commit adultery Ruins the entire character for me, and makes me kinda disappointed. Kinda autistic I know, but I just hate degeneracy that much.
whoa, season 23 episode 22, what was that!?
>Lisa goes Gaga
Huh...
that show was amazing. it was better than most shows aimed at adults.
Classic DCAU is the best media that has ever come from western comics. The MCU has nothing on it at all. Also, Bruce Timm has fine taste in 2D women.
Oh poor guys
>When the show began in 1989, the largely unknown cast were all under contract for $30,000 an episode, which was amazingly the pay rate they were locked into until 1998, essentially the entirety of the show's creative golden age and cultural zenith. The cast got a healthy pay bump up to $125,000 an episode in 1998. They entered one of their most contentious battles with the network in 2004, when the network threatened to recast the roles if a pay settlement couldn't be reached. No one took Fox's threats seriously, and the cast saw their wages bumped to $360,000 an episode.
>The cast struck their most lucrative deal in 2008, topping out at $400,000 an episode. As the show has aged and become increasingly expensive to produce, the cast have had to take minor pay cuts, starting in 2011, when their per episode rate dipped to $300,000. That's the current pay rate for the cast going into season 29, though there was very nearly a serious problem in 2015.
>$300,000 per episode
it's a game of chess to (((them)))
if it had a purpose then maybe, but it served no purpose other than to fill time. like when Marge got fake tits for no reason.
formerly funny
Only gucci loafers like it now.
>used to love
Never ever did I like it. It is one of the laziest and most bland displays of "humor" in the history of animated cartoons. Even something as horrible and childish as Beavis and Butthead was 100x better.
Can you even afford TV?
Can you imagine being payed $30,000 for talking, and then fucking complaining about it? What do these people even need all that money for? Fuck.
Simpson’s jump the shark a long time ago but I would tune in for that episode
>it's a bart episode
You probably didn't have a TV when it was funny though m8.
I gotta rewatch BTAS as a series over again. Loved that shit
>no ones posted diversity kittens yet

>from the 90s
unironically communist cartoons were better, especially from this simpson shit.
There are people reading this board that weren't even alive when the show stopped being good.
...
..
we've not yet figured out how to turn that knowledge into profit.
No, not really. Never liked the Simpsons. Nothing of value lost there.
This is why no one likes Greece or the Greeks
The Simpsons died in the early 2000's.
Based Sneedposter
>So as the world swells with more and more people, less and less view the simpsons because the quality has gotten that much worse since the 90's.
Makes sense, get woke go broke takes longer the more popular the thing is I guess, but it ALWAYS turns a creative enterprise in to dogshit faster than you can say "Women Writers".
whats the wolf cartoon called?
It was one of those rare shows that was very clearly aimed at kids and young adults, but also didn't treat their audience like they were all retards who can't grasp basic theming, arcs, and pathos.
Take the example of how the show worked with Harvey Dent. We spend a good three or four episodes getting to know the character before we see him become Two-Face and watching his life be torn apart and seeing him finally break is on par with any of the great Hollywood tragedies.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4TM6kX9dW0
This is some dark shit for a kid's show, but it treats the material and the audience with respect.
