i tried to form a lit club with some old friends, had hesitant agreements, and when a bracket is made and books are laid out get called a nerd, conversation derailed, and 'some of these are movies lol'
of course some of these are fucking movies
theyre amazing books
im recommending idiocracy (also a movie) and ghosting all of them if i dont have solid responses

If they're not interested in reading then why are you trying to get them into a lit club?...

Do things that those friends like with those friends and if you want friends that are into literature, make some new friends that are. It's no not all that hard to figure out user.
