This is great, for us anyway. We really need to be considering the global domination option here. Peaceful coexistence is possible, yes, but apparently people do want that, so the solution is to just steamroll the entire globe. The USA can absolutely achieve that goal, right now.

We already do, it's called the international arms trade. We literally sell guns to EVERYONE. And not just guns either, we move more military hardware than was sold after the collapse of the USSR.

I think the pistol should wait until 18 or 21, but a rifle and shotgun, and one box of standard military issue ammo for each, plus the cleaning kit sounds right, all shipped in a cardboard box.
Slings and other non-essentials you have to buy yourself.

Cousin of mine who lives and works on his family's farm explained his row of AR-15s, hunting rifles, shotguns and pistols like this:
"Many of my friends were idiots in their teenage years. They cant legally have a gun. What they do have is cars with at least enough gas to get here if something bad happens or might happen. I still think many are idiots but the thing is they are loyal long time friend idiots. Some are ex-military and can train the others. I can have 12+ friends fully armed in under 2 hours and by the end of the day over 30 people all on this farm ready to defend it."
Thing is I am known as the more gun guy of the family. After I got out of the army I've always had guns around me. I live in the suburbs but people have no idea how quick an army can be put together in rural America. My cousin told me, everyone does it "out here".
