Not sure if this is the right board since it's Jow Forums related, but I guess it works here too.
So I've been meaning to move out of my (third world) country for years now, I've always wanted to live in the U.S or Canada for obvious reasons and today I've had enough of my own country's bullshit, I'm going to make this happen even if it kills me. The problem is I have no fucking idea where to start, what kind of procedures I need to go through, what knd of provisions/precautions I must take and most importantly how I can get my greenie. What do I do? Where do I start? From Brazil btw.
>inb4 the wall just got 5 feet taller I'm not going illegally either I just want to work maaaan.
Done that, I'd like to hear from someone who has actually done it.
Dylan Clark
I didn't move from Brazil to the US, but my wife did. We had to fill out an I-130 first, get marriage papers, show that she wouldn't be ward of the state, and her records from the federal police there and medical papers. She had to interview in Rio at the US consulate. Process was almost a year and I think we spent a couple of thousand for everything.
Daniel Parker
So she got a marriage visa, I'm also assuming she moved in with you too?
Nathaniel Phillips
Moved from argentina to Canada 3 things >Have skills >Clean climinal record >Good English level Unless you have all three forget bout it
>To USA >From Brazil We're full you fucking leech nigger kike. KYS.

Eu falo muito poço en português mais posso entender as pessoas cuando falam
There is a lot of companies looking for software developers in Brazil. (Search vanhack hiring fair Sao Paulo) Apart from that what are your studies user? 'lookin 4 the jobs' is too specific imo
Fellow argie here. I'm thinking of moving to another country. Can you define skills? What kind of skills do you need? What are the ones that opened the doors for you?
Ayden Walker
When you say skills do you mean college related or just in workplace experience in general? This is good to hear, what kind of visa did you get user? Ah thank you user
Justin Johnson
Don't come to America unless you're green, 3 feet tall, and have spare phasers to give me.
Jason Carter
Majoring in Software development in just a few months as a matter of fact, though living in SP is... pretty awful. I also have an administration course but I feel like it's barely going to hold any weight in another country.
Brayden Rogers
>though living in SP is... pretty awful. I derped, it's just a recruitment, I suppose I can take a trip and try it user.

So for Canada you have A) temporary visas only for x Company Let's say google, even if you wanted to work for McDonald's to make some extra money you. Can't B) MPNP and other provincial programs This allows you to work in a region freely , imagine SC in Brazil and el cuyo in Argentina
Fast track: if you are under 30 join AIESEC they get you work all over the world and talk directly with the country immigration officers (Doing it bhy myself could take anywhere from 6-12 months, with AIESEC it was in a month)
I only did secondary school and self taught most of programming concepts, it's doable without a degree but you gotta proof your worth
Canada needs too many software developers. US law to get inmigrant workforce is so strict big companies and opening offices in Canada to hire that talent Now is a great time to go
>MPNP >AIESEC This is EXACTLY what I wanted to hear user, PLEASE could you go more in-depth about their procedures and selection? This makes me happy thank you user
Go into the AIESEC thing. Search global talent (paid internships) Apply for it, you will get an email from someone in your country that will explain the steps , it usually goes >Send documents to AIESEC >Send documents to embassy >???? >Profit
And regarding MPNP i just started it but pretty much gives you freedom to work for whoever you please and you are no longer tied to the company (you can do this 6 months after starting working in Canada)
Once you get into the country is just shits and giggles And flexing on your old friends
You can't just move to another country. They have to let you in, and they all have restrictions so you can't come in and steal jobs from locals or just go on the dole.
