It was Halder's fault. He didn't support Rommel for petty personal reasons and after the war wrote a booklet where he put all the blame on Hitler.

I am basing it on Desmond Young's Rommel biography which was the first decent one and pretty close to the time when it happened. Halder didn't have to manipulate Hitler. He just had to work and delay decisions within his power. Hitler may have talked to Rommel and assured him with his support but his main concern was basically being involved with the Eastern Front 24/7. It was impossible for him to keep trace of all the developments by himself. And that's how Halder sidelined Rommel. Hitler was running on fucking autopilot by that time.
And I'm basing it on Rommel's own memoirs and letters. Sure he had many enemies, but he also had the ear of the Man. but the Man didn't aid him. all the other conclusions might be true, untrue or conjecture, but the above is a fact.

Don't you think it's rather strange that at least in media there are always a larger minority of nordic racial types present in Turkey than in Greece? I mean my Mother watches a lot of foreign drama, usually French, German, Spanish, Scandinavian and so on but in some of the Turkish ones a lot of the actors wouldn't look out of place in Stockholm or Copenhagen, whilst the Greek ones are all Ottoman mongrels, have you ever noticed this yourself?

Their 'elite' (well at least before Erdogan days) has always considered themselves as Europeans in a way ... compared to the Arabized Anatolian farmer at least. They overcompensate with the actors I would say while Greek are more happy with their mongrel looks.
