While Mueller was a thing, he was on the defensive, and Dems were on the offensive, hence Dems taking the House and the impotent Trump admin for two years. Right now, it's a sort of stalemate limbo, but Dems seem to be the only ones trying to claw their way back to the offensive.

The question is, why is it open already? Trump has said it's an emergency, so why is he waiting to close it because of a new caravan? It should have been closed a long time ago.

And if he does not have the power to close it then how can he be 'threatening to close it' without it being an empty threat? Either he's a moron who doesn't know what his own powers are, or he's lying on purpose and actually does have that power but won't use it? Which is it?
