Have a bump. Feudalism is the future

What do we do with the hereditary warrior caste that feeds off the peasants but doesn't have any wars to fight?

Tell people about Sankin Kotai.
It solves all problems in terms of loyalty.
The fact that the Tokugawa government fell just a couple of years after the system was repealed (and barely a year after they attempted to reinstate after realizing how much of a mistake the repeal was) is surely no coincidence.

They learn to be poets. The mind thatguides the blade should be as sharp as the katana!

Same thing we do now: create wars to prop up the military-industrial complex.

All normies will die by our blade!

Okay, so is there a large and thriving market that values poetry..?

Its about education and governance not money

Not everything is about markets, Charlie Kirk.

I'd rather not starve just so some assholes can write poetry.

I thought we were going back to agrarianism. If we're just making a modern monarchy then that's not japanese feudalism.

Totally correct.we need to return to the conditions of Japan during the feudal era. It was utopian

Anyone know any good books or reading material regarding Feudalism?

Perhaps that's a stretch, I wouldn't say necessarily that you're well educated from solely chancing the waters with poetry, nor do I think good poetry can merely substitute for governance, at that point you're just a glorified soothsayer.
You basically want a bunch of warrior caste bums to lay around doing nothing but poetry and get their stipend in times of peace, sounds dumb, surely they could assert themselves to more meaningful pursuits like carpentry and disaster relief..?

Thanks mate. I'll be sure to read that when I get off

In a Feudalist society you dont have the luxury to be lazy though. If you want to eat, you either need to fish or hunt your own food, or go to a local market and exchange goods / coins for food. A Feudalist society would all but eliminate self entitlement since no one would bre given anything for free. Commies claim Socialism is the working class ideology, but they couldn't be father from the truth since in a true Communist society the authoritarian government distributes out the goods and food equally among the citizens whereas in a Feudalist society the authoritarian government just asks for a small tax in return for protection against warlords. People would theoretically control over the economy in a Feudalist society

I can only recommed the Orthodox nationalist podcast hosted by Matthew Raphael Johnson, that dude is one of the most erudite people i've ever had the pleasure of listening to.

He talks about medieval, modern and ancient russia and europe and other related topics including organization hierarchies, people and economy to a greater or lesser degree, though much of this is done a in a roundabout way by contemporary religious characters, mostly orthodox. Super interesting stuff.

Thanks. I'll be sure to look him up

Meji did nothing wrong

This was literally a problem in Tokugawa society. They couldn't make enough useless government jobs for all the samurai.

Cite the deity that installed this governance.

Tokugawa deified himself and his family
He alsomarginalized the Emperor family

I dunno from my studies there were just a bunch of flamboyant motherfuckers running around collecting shit and killing dumb mooks

Listen, I love feudalism more than the next guy. It was a beautiful system to solve the problems of the time, which was longer than a thousand years. But it doesn't work in an industrial economy. It works in an agrarian economy where the average joe can make enough food and goods to sustain his family's comfy life working an average of 20 hours per week. Not only are people never going to choose to go back to that lifestyle, we now have too many people to make that lifestyle work. The only way to return to feudalism is through accelerationism, a defeatist tactic. Oh no one will ever choose my preferred economic system? I know, burn down everything and hope my system is the one that comes out on top after the bandit kings are dead.

So what's the industrial economy's workable version of feudalism? Not kidding, it's communism. Industrial feudalism was Marx's goal in communism.

Think about it. Marx was a dialectical materialist. To him, feudalism was the thesis, capitalism was the antithesis, and communism the synthesis. Marx had no problem with the organizational structure of capitalism. His capitalist problem was the division of the fruits of labor. He thought it should be fair, as it had been under feudalism, with the laborer keeping the majority of his product and the ruling class getting a small fraction, just as the feudal lords had. Marx had no problem with the symbiotic welfare of feudalism. His feudal problem was the hereditary caste of lords who treated the serfs increasingly as chattle (especially in Russia, which was one of the few places still using serfdom). The Marxist synthesis was an industrial feudalism where each man worked according to his ability and received according to his needs, like a national family. This was the essence of feudalism, the preservation of family structure over all else, transformed to accommodate the advantages of a modern administrative state and the totalitarian desires of 19th Century nationalism.

If this seems like a bizarre contradiction, welcome to Marxism. "Dictatorship of the proletariat" and mean other ideas are inherently contradictory due to the underlying dialectical materialism. But the fact is this is the only workable version of industrial feudalism.

If you want to get really truthpilled on this, I suggest reading Sociology for the South, written in the 1850's. It talks at length about the need to establish a modern version of feudalism and argues, quite well, that plantation slavery and socialism are the best way to do it.

So choose your nightmare here. Bring back feudalism by inducing an apocalypse or bring back feudalism by creating an Orwellian nightmare state. There are alternatives if you erase human nature

Rule by shotgun? Like those dumpster guys?
