I would be irritated by a man who is unpleasant about women. I expect empathy from the people I surround myself with - I would be equally annoyed by a female friend who refuses to believe men face problems too.
I would like men to acknowledge that women - especially outside of the western world - face difficulties in particular to them. However, I don't expect them to wax lyrical about it or make a mountain out of a molehill (see: dick pic example), or virtue signalling. White knighting can look like you're doing it for brownie points if you go too hard.

I think the problem with it isn't so much the penis as it is that it's unsolicited. It shouldn't be assumed that someone is interested in seeing your dick, and it's that assumption that gets women upset; the women I've talked to about it just genuinely don't understand what the dick pic sender is trying to accomplish. They don't get aroused by it, and count it as a negative against your personality that you think your dick is so special that it would get them aroused just by seeing it in a picture that they didn't ask for or want. To them it demonstrates a lack of empathy and understanding, which is rude as well as a major turnoff. Keep it in your pants and talk to them like you're both human beings
