I’ve been smoking weed every day since I was 16, I’m 24 now. I could tell marijuana was having a negative effect on me since day 1 but I couldn’t bring myself to stop. I tried to quit this year and I successfully stopped for two years but I felt even worse off. No emotion, I didn’t get much pleasure from anything and I had even less energy than when I was on weed. I know that regular use during teen years can alter brain development but I want to know if it’s permanent? Will I be able to try and quit again and maybe get back to how I used to be? I’m not schizo but I do show some symptoms like being extremely a motivated, anti social, etc. Doesn’t help much that I’m a neet who stays inside all day either.
I'm not really sure about this, but people have reported good results switching to a higher-CBD-ratio (less-THC) strain. Most of the negative side effects (anxiety/paranoia) are from THC, and CBD helps suppress them.
