College is basically extortion, you have to pay to get a document if you want to make a particular salary or have access to certain trade crafts. That's it. If college was eliminated we would just move to an apprentice system which "surprise surprise" would eliminate debt and actually allow students to earn a salary while working with their teacher.
The issue with this is that you would know in a few weeks if you weren't cut out for the job and you wouldn't spend 50k or borrow money. Not only that, but you would form a sub culture that could eventually become a subversive threat to the government.
So why school and not apprentice ships? That's where the indoctrination comes in. That's why you have to take elective courses where a history teacher can totally fuck a physics majors GPA because he didn't talk about the evolution of pottery in a PC way.
It's a screening process to identify free thinkers and eliminate them from the job pool.

Yes it is. STEM major, 2012 grad and I remember how they kept trying to cram "humanities" into every STEM curriculum. And the list of choices they offered were some of the most shameless leftist indoctrination programs I've ever seen. I'm talking a blitzkrieg of direct challenges and guilt trips to traditionalism/conservatism right from the start. A bunch of my former friends were pozzed by this degeneracy and were never the same. My theory is that those of us with the logical and critical thinking ability to take on STEM coursework need an extra strong dose of reconditioning because we'd easily see past the normal day to day degeneracy they serve to the masses.
