>"We have fought during 15 days for a single house," writes a German officer, "with mortars, grenades, machine guns, and bayonets. Already by the third day 54 German corpses are strewn in the cellars, on the landings, and the staircases. The front is a corridor between burnt-out rooms; it is the thin ceiling between two floors. Help comes from neighboring houses by fire escapes and chimneys. There is a ceaseless struggle from noon to night. From story to story, faces black with sweat, we bombard each other with grenades in the middle of explosions, clouds of dust and smoke, heaps of mortar, floods of blood, fragments of furniture and human beings. Ask any soldier what half an hour of hand-to-hand struggle means in such a fight. And imagine Stalingrad; 80 days and 80 nights of hand-to-hand struggles. The street is no longer measured by meters but by corpses... "Stalingrad is no longer a town. By day it is an enormous cloud of burning, blinding smoke; it is a vast furnace lit by the reflection of the flames. And when night arrives, one of those scorching, howling, bleeding nights, the dogs plunge into the Volga and swim desperately to gain the other bank. The nights of Stalingrad are a terror for them. Animals flee this hell; the hardest stones can not bear it for long; only men endure."
ywn hack up frozen horses and bodies of your dead comrades for food and shoot at steam pipes to get drinking water with your bros in Stalingrad
From your viewpoint, I respectfully agree even though most will disagree here. A Nazi victory would not have been good for Russians
Joshua Nelson
>not an a-argument! Yet you just used the fallacy by saying "the whole civilized and uncivilized world holds this view" which is also substantiated.
Nathan Robinson
where do all you ruskies keep coming from? shoo!
Austin Peterson
It baffles me why some Russians actually advocate in Hitler's favor. Like you said, his victory would have been a disaster for us.
Jackson Richardson
A disaster for you is a benefit for the rest of Europe.
Luke Hughes
If by Europe you mean Germans, then yeah, victory would have been a benefit for them. For most other people - not so much.
Sebastian Lee
Yes, from Lieutenant Weiner of the 24th Panzer Division
But I remember hearing it from TWaW
Robert Bell
I see why the allies fought. My grandfather was from the then comfy all white city of Saskatoon in the 1930s. It was a wholesome and homogeneous country. His father fought the “Hun” in WW1 for an all white traditional Britain. The USA was a near perfect nation as isolationists so when the (((propaganda))) started flowing, you’re damn right they’d fight hard against the “evil” Germans. Our grandparents had no idea what was in store for their grandkids or (((who))) really won the war. But let’s be real. A German victory would’ve been better for whites than this clown world.
Cameron Gonzalez
And for the French, and the British, and the Italians, and the Danes, and the Finns, and the Swedes, and the Spanish, and the...
No I'm not denying it was also in TWaW because I heard it on there too. It's a fantastic quote.
Ethan Diaz
this is how much didnt like their grandchildren getting blacked
Gavin Powell
Wrong

There is absolutely no guarantee the Third Reich would have remained the way it was in 1939 with the same aims and politics. It would have probably been USSR 2.0, but more focused on racial issues and eventually collapse like every other dictatorship out there. Then liberal ideas would take root and you will have the same "clown world" as we have right now.
Thomas Stewart
Lol
Blake Evans
>There is absolutely no guarantee the Third Reich would have remained the way it was in 1939 with the same aims and politics Right, they could have turned into a force for good after the bad business had to happen. So why do you say if that was a possibility? Are you even listening to yourself?
Grayson Bailey
I'm saying this because German "strategy" involved much more intended bloodshed than the one the winning side practiced. It would have probably resulted in the same scenario that we have right now, but with a far higher death toll and disappearance of several cultures.
Julian Miller
You're lucky 21st Russia is too pragmatic to be considered a country in need of disappearing.
Ian Thomas
this is where germans realized they were the subhumans and slavs are the master race
The world is no longer what it used to be in the 20th century. At least for now. Not to mention that from the political perspective, Russia's disappearance would be a disaster.
Tyler Turner
>It baffles me why some Russians actually advocate in Hitler's favor
I don't know why but I'd guess they liked his extremely nationalistic race based government and wanted to model it. It wouldn't have been good for you though
Charles Baker
If you haven't fucking noticed the disappearance of Nazi Germany appears to have had disastrous consequences for the entire planet, but hey at least you guys still get to live.
"There is no sepulcher for the fallen German soldier in Russia, one day his body will be tilled over by a farmer and used as fertiliser for his crops. Whoever you are that reads these words, know that we were real people and many were unsung heroes that now lie in the ground in Russia and not a conversation piece to be discussed at a book club over coffee, we laughed, we lived, we loved, we drank, we died, you may feel sympathy with me and my comrades, but you will never understand what we went through and I hope to the God that I don't even believe in, that you never have to do the things and see the things that I and so many millions of German boys and men did. I am no longer alive, I breath but I don't live, I feel nothing for this world and the sanctity of life is non existent. I could burn entire villages and cities to the ground and no longer care, I would even manically laugh just as I laughed when I saw men being torn apart by machine guns and crushed by tank treads. The war took my soul from me and any enjoyment I once had at being alive"
That's true until the fucking idiot known as Heinrich Himmler decided to racially cleanse eastern europe way too early as part of Generalplan Ost turning them against the Reich resulting in millions of more manpower for the Soviets and massive partisan resistance across a 2000 mile long frontline in an area where logistics is the most crucial thing in a backwards, dirt road laden landscape riddled with forests, swamps, rivers, hills and mountains.
Christopher Bennett
For you, big guy. But for the US Patton was absolutely right, we helped save your asses so you could defeat the greatest anti communist power just so we could spend decades fighting communism. So fucking stupid.
Oliver Reyes
>A Nazi victory would not have been good for Russians
It would have been great for white people, though.
Jayden Allen
You'd spend decades fighting National Socialism, what difference would that make?
Nathaniel Kelly
Wow, I didn't know they let emo faggots into the wehrmacht.
Andrew Fisher
>You'd spend decades fighting National Socialism, what difference would that make?
No we wouldn't. There would be no point. Germany would need a hundred years to digest and integrate their new territories and would still be mostly a land power with little new coastline. We could live comfy in the same world with the US taking the British overseas empire.
Tyler Long
Two empires can't coexist. There would have been the same arms race, space race and the same cold war. If anything, America would probably be more liberal than it is today.
Jeremiah Edwards
>It would have been great for white people, though.
Ehh, Nazism was not pro white. It was pro Germany.
We don't and never needed Nazism, we literally had a racially based government like NS Germany but better until at least 1965
