Can Amazon take my money

I recently scammed amazon, I got refunded a £110 monitor and I refunded my old piece of shit monitor instead. Now they are messaging me saying they will charge me the £110 tomorrow. I removed my payment details from my amazon account, can they still charge me or is that illegal?

Lol ur either gonna pay or recked

How do I know you're a nigger

So you cheated a company and now you want to know if they legally have the right to call you on your bullshit?

Pay up, son. Not worth it.

But how can they take the money, I cancelled the card and they no longer have my details on my account, if they do take the money it is by illegal means surely?

>small time scammer thinks he can fuck with and steal from a trillion dollar scam empire that robs countries
I mean, I guess one can commend your optimism.

They have no way of taking the money though unless they physically come and rob me

They still have your name and address. They're gonna take your ass to court for fraud and they will win.

Is that their only option though? I am happy enough with that

OP is one stupid motherfucker.

Just pay the damn bill. $200 is cheaper than what you'll lose in court. Quit being a little scam-weasel. You're not clever. You've been caught. They probably deal with this sort of shit every damn day. Pay up and save yourself future hassle.

They won't take me to court

They will just have a court physically come and rob you.

Well then, what's the problem? You've already told us that they can't do X, Y and Z so why make the thread in the first place? If you're going to argue and ignore everything that everyone suggests or says, why even bother wasting your and our time with this thread?

You scammed them. They PROBABLY won't take you to court. (They might. In which case you're properly fucked.) and you are now the King of Weasels. Congratulations.

Now what?

>thinking your personal details can be deleted this easily

They have no authority to take money from my account without having the legal rights, they are not the judges of if I scammed them
Juice is not worth the squeeze
I fear the bezos

They don't need your card details if they can get the original £110 transaction refunded from the bank due to fraud which will put your account £110 in the red.

How do they have that authority, they can't charge my bank account because of there claim of fraud they need proof, and without my permission they can not remove funds from my account

They'll take you to court. You'll end up paying a lot more than you now if that happens. Stop being a worthless cunt and pay what you owe.

They won't take me to court

Keep telling yourself that, dumbass. I hope Amazon fucks you hard.

Not worth the effort to take me to court

This entire thread is basically people mad I got something for free

They can't do thst or thst is theft on there part

>can they legally charge me after I illegally scammed them?

If you refuse to pay then they will contact your local police and then you will be fined and have a criminal record for petty larceny.

They need proof

You think they don't have records of all the shit that goes through the company?

Hope you used a fake name, fake mailing address, fake email and also a fake name on the credit card you already canceled.

You're not doing yourself any favors. You have to think long term, either own up and send it back and hope to get a refund or wait to get fucked hard in civil court. Trust me the worst that can happen is you send it back and they don't give you your money back

No they can't use the payment details you have deleted whatever the reason is. And if they did, you can fuck them over almost literally!! I know this because as a software engineer I know that this info must be treated as if it actually is deleted even of I have them in my database.

Is this true or are you saying thst to make me not worry in the hope that I get fucked worse?

If you worried that much you should have not done it. It's just 200$. I mean not worth all this worrying. But I am sure, if they did just get a good lawyer and sue them.

If i connect with my card details, if I cancel thst card can they still access my bank to retrieve funds? The email says they will chargd iriginsl payment method

So wait, you bought a monitor for £110, then returned went to return it but gave them your old monitor instead? Yeah, they have all your information based on your first purchase bro, they'll just take the money and your bank will side with them. GGWP you're an idiot.

He certainly has an Anglo surname, just as most American blacks do

>But how can they take the money, I cancelled the card and they no longer have my details on my account

Your account is user facing only, all of your information is stored in a database for a long time after you delete it from YOUR account. Think of it like this:
- You have a folder with papers in it, those papers have your name and card information on them (this is your account).
- When you purchase something, you show them your papers and they process it, copying the information in the process (their internal servers)
- You can throw your folder + papers away all you want, but they've already written your information down as a result of the transaction.

Additionally, the records that are kept are not your card information. They have no use for that. A card number is a reference to a bank account + routing number + ID. All they need is the record of your bank and routing number and they'll charge the account and the bank will give it to them.

Your option then will be to contest the charge as fraudulent. Your bank / creditor will conduct an investigation, inquiring with Amazon, and it'll show that you indeed purchased a monitor and then returned it, but their records show that the item returned wasn't the item purchased and per their terms of service that means the purchase is still outstanding / valid.

There is zero percent chance you succeed here. Just stop being a faggot.

Don't think anyone here minds him scamming a giant corporation. It's just unlikely to work.

You commited fraud retard, they can take you to court.

they will probably blacklist you then. enjoy not buying from amazon again for trying to scam them. also they can send you a collection notice to your address and fuck with your credit score.

I am a software engineer for an Amazon tier company and this is very muddy water. All PERSONAL information has to be deleted if the user specifically requests it, but "user facing accounts" and "saved credit card information" doesn't fall under that category. The "profile" you manage on your Amazon account is a user facing convenience. If you want them to scrub your information from their databases you have to actually contact them and request it. However this isn't even important because they already have a record of the transaction. Money from Account X with Bank Y being transferred to Amazon account Z is THEIR record. They have that information and it's theirs forever. Specifically so you can't pull this dine-and-dash bullshit.

Think of it this way: Do you REALLY think you're the first person to try and purchase something on a credit card, stage a bogus return, and then cancel the card?

No of course you're not. Which means they have protocols for dealing with people like you. Look, I'm for fucking huge corporations as much as the next guy, but in this instance you're trying to box above your weight class and you have no chance at winning.

You have more chances of scamming Bezos by marrying him and then filing divorce

Why do you think you have the legal high ground as a thief?
