This thread is for talking about your countries monarchy and why they are based. >be Wilhem I >beat france so hard that there was nobody left who could really surrender >unified germany >started unpresidented economic growth >had a social security system created in the 1870s that was already better than the shit the us has today >turned germany into a center for science
We germans need a return to the monarchy since a purely democratic system is to slow to keep up with the rapid changes we see today and would greatly increase the efficency of politcal decision making
A fourth reich would be much preferable than the German Caliphate.
Liam Brown
of course. Germanies biggest problem is the fadding of prussian ideals since 1918. We have to go back
Jeremiah Ward
Shit why stop at monarchy? Just hand the EU over to the Italians and go back to being their saiyans.
Your fortune: キタ━━━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━━━ !!!!

might actually be better for france but we told them to fuck off back then and we will do it again. Fucking italians did more harm on our side than when we were fighting against them
Dominic White
>be italy in 1914 >signed a treaty before that forces italy to join in with austria hungary and germany when they get attacked >dont oblidge the treaty >actually attack the austrians???
Like wtf how scumy can a nation be
Carter Morris
How do we put this guy on the throne? I haven't heard of any monarchial parties in Germany yet.
But everything about German culture when the subject comes to architecture is inspired by roman or Jewish designs. How many times can Germany fail at being independent only to threaten the existence of Europe. Hell technically a lot of the rapes are Germany's fault because not only did they let the migrants in, they forced everyone else too at gunpoint,🐨
no idea but reading interviews he seems very humble and actually a great head of state. Somebody who wouldnt fuck around with unimportant matters and leave those to the parlament and only become active once it becomes important
Also: Enacted a pure gold standard backed by stolen french gold, securing the existence of our currency and a future for low inflation
Christian Brown
>prussian culture >roman and jewish
and again we have a amerimut who actually has no fucking idea about european history and culture
Of course there are influences. Happens when so many cultures are packed close together. But prussian culture is vastly different from the jewish and roman culture.
Oliver Smith
>be Germany >pussy monarch
Ryan Sanders
Germany died in 1945. What we have left is a bloated corpse filled with maggots.
Michael Murphy
>roman and jewish sounds like someone is projecting again
Connor Bennett
*1918 Facism is just a shitty italian system
Jonathan Young
care to explain? Wilhem I showed big balls reguarlly. Alone the balls needed to challange Austria have so much gravity that they pulled germany closer to a place at the sun
Andrew Watson
hes not really interrested in politics though
Jacob Gutierrez
which makes him even better for that position. No bias towards any party at all.
Levi Walker
true
Sebastian Baker
You mean >be Bismarck >spend a lifetime creating an empire none can fuck with >a monarch casually destroys your entire work in a couple decades
Monarchy is always a coin toss - you get someone who is just a bit sub-par and your country might cease to exist. They are good as figureheads for the country to rally behind, but you need a proper constitution that can keep their (possible) idiocy in check.
Xavier Hill
maybe you could stop eating entente propaganda? Wihelm II was hot blooded but not stupid. With the alliances he had in place taking france down pushing through Savoy and erlass at the same time would have been enough. But since italy didnt oblidge to the treaties the whole thing went south.
Expecting betrail on such a level is something that they didnt calculate for since the whole concept seemed crazy itself
Mason Jackson
>daily telegraph affair >Tirpitz in charge of the navy >letting the Schlieffen plan go ahead, knowing it will allow Britain to enter the war >allowing those retards at the general staff de facto control of the country
Had he been simply mediocre things would have turned out a million times better for everyone. (Though I have to admit we are at fault for WW1, whatever the A-H apologists try to say.)
William Butler
Daily telegraph afair -> von Bülow had a fucking retard moment Tirpitz in charge of the navy -> >implying the german navy had a chance from the start Schleifen plan -> what else should we have done? throw ourselves against the french despite them having one front less than planned? It was a risky move. Yes it didnt pay of but worth a shot And i like to argue that giving control of the counrty to the military was the right move. Just see how much france was crippled through parlamentary infighting while the german economy became very streamlined and efficent allowing us to fight like we did
no offense but spain seems so negative towards the monarchy.. The king literally gave you your freedom back after Francos death but still so many people disrepect the royal family
Bentley James
You don’t have to go that way. Just get back to constitutional republics with proper qualifications required to join the electorate. The give the government enough power, within constitutional limits, to get the job done.
Jose Rodriguez
There is a loud anti-monarchist from the left, but most of us either don't mind the monarchy or like it. Doesn't matter how many leftists hate the king, as long as the right stays pro-monarchy, there will never be a third republic. Sadly, the good days of a truly powerful king who dealt with traitors like they deserve to and didn't bow to supranational entities are long gone, and the milquetoast monarchy we have now has barely any power. Which is bad, since Felipe is probably the most capable out of any other person out there to rule us
Lincoln Clark
>meme flag Yeah right weimar worked so great and the current sluggish goverment is truly something great yeah what is needed is a constitunal monarchy adapted to the modern times. A strong monarch is needed but so is a parlament. Maybe make it so the king can call upon the citizens to directly vote on a law bypassing parlament? And similar things like that so we dont get shit like "yeah this and this law is needed right now but it will come in effect only in 2086"
