as much as she might have a point about brown on white sexual violence, she is being ignorant of the economics of movie making. the film she is talking about is a chick flick. white women spend the most money in america. white women want to self-insert into the womans role in a chick flick. white women will struggle to self-insert into a brown character. brown on brown action = bollywood not hollywood, or at the most it would be some indie flick no one would watch. the studio isnt making art, it is trying to make money so it has to sell a product the audience wants and brown women are so small a segment that they aren't worth catering too. obviously white women who want to bathe in the curry pool are a larger segment of the movie going audience.

It's funny that now that racemixing has become publicly accepted, brown women pretty much have to admit that white women are objectively more beautiful.

it is a pretty interesting article, but only from the perspective of seeing how the writers analyses everything through your typical gender studies, postmodern cultural critique lens
