Why are not people afraid of death?
Why are not people afraid of death?
Because I managed to do most everything I could reasonably ask out of life. I will die without a wife or kids, but I will die in satisfaction of having wonderful friends, great experiences, and with my wits about me.
Death can come at any time, user. Make the most of life now, instead of fearing it. Nothing awaits us but the great, enveloping, cosmic dark.
>no more fear
>no more sadness
>no more pain
>no more feeling anything at all
>just extinction of consciousness
Sounds pretty good man.
Death is Defeat. NEVER FALL, NEVEL LET GO. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
It depends on your current mood. If you're stressed out and depressed death seems awesome. If you're happy with your life death is scary.
Because it's the natural order of things, our lives have no meaning so it is just meant to be.
Because it's an inevitability. No sense being scared of something that is going to happen whether you want it to or not.
Based self-actualized user.
maybe your life has no meaning, don’t lump me in with you
I didn't know Christfags posted here
They don't have any meaning except to ourselves. We are nothing compared to the universe
Not people don't have higher thinking. They are all much stupider than us. Maybe not dolphins.
I cant wait to die
Gg game over nigga
you’re supposing the universe itself was originally accidental? (I don’t agree here)
or are you saying any true meaning is too complicated to grasp? (I sort of agree here)
I concur with your last point though
Most people are though, or some realize it right when they are about to pass.
Honestly I don't care much about it anymore.
We have at least one namefag who can't write a message without vomiting out religious bullshit about virtue.
Because death would be a decent alternative to the current state. Not better to a degree where I want to actively pursue it, but also not to the point where I care if it happens. I am pretty indifferent to it, to he honest.
Death is ultimately the end goal of life. When it happens doesn't really change much to me.
It’s like worrying about a test instead of studying
Doesnt seem to bother the dead
My people are not represented here. Except maybe this dude. I was a fist fighting risk taking kid and had no fear of death. I grew up into a reasonable dude and still maintained my badass attitude. Doctors told me I I am already fast on my way to being out of here at 32 years old. Now it bothers me. I think that a lot of us are shielded by optimism. Not too many are really excited about kicking the bucket once it is imminent. If anything, im just keeping it zipped so I don't go out looking like a sissy. For those who fear it but are not really facing it; some may have the wisdom to understand things before they understand them. Others may just be whimps. I think that most of the fearless are going to be ill prepared when they have that bridge to cross. Anyhow user, it didn't bother us when we weren't here the last time and we go back to the infinity. The thought of what you miss out on May bug you now but, that'll go away.
I'm not afraid of death. I'm afraid of the people I love dying and being the last of the people I know left alone with nothing but my grief, and I'm afraid of the pain of dying, of a long slow death or an excruciating death, but death itself? No. I would prefer to die sooner than later.
Death is somehow incredibly comforting. It gives more meaning and intensity to the things I do and have now, knowing that they won't last forever. Besides, once I'm dead, it's not like I'll be around to be bummed out about it.
