Your answers should tell you a lot about your commitment to your culture. You might talk a good game -- but what do you actually DO?
>Modern art/music/philosophy are garbage. Ridiculous. Some of it is, of course. But to dismiss it all just means you're lazy. The culture of the past has already gone through the filter of time, so the shit has been left by the wayside by the people of the past so you never have to deal with it. THAT'S why it seems superior.
Now, it's your turn to discover the elements of modern culture that you believe have value and consume and promote them. This way, people in the future will know the best of your culture. Dismissing it all as garbage means you're part of what you despise.
i put ur post thru babelfish and this is what i got

I look at the opera house every day, I’m cultured.
Gavin Ramirez
Tried reading platos Republic yesterday. But have been sick and groggy for a week so I probably don’t remember much.
Listened to Bach.
Matthew Morales
>1. Went to an art museum? 3 days ago >2. Went to see a play? A play is a outdated media, get with your time. Movie > play. >3. Read poetry? Who the fuck read poetry ? I'm a big reader, never enjoyed this shit. >4. Read literature? Today. >5. Saw an opera? Last december. >6. Went to hear a symphony play? 2 years ago >7. Went to hear chamber music? >8. Saw a ballet? Culture is much more than these things you listed here, you shit eating faggot
Brayden Hughes
>years ago >last year >months ago >today >never >last year >dunno what that is >years ago >last year >this year
Jason Perry
Literally the only thing in Australia that is world-famous is the Sydney Opera House.
>Went to an art museum? Two months ago. Took my huwhite GF there on a date.
>Went to see a play? Two years ago and it was mandatory for college. Fuck modern theatre.
>Read poetry? Yesterday.
>Read literature? Yesterday. Moby Dick.
>Saw an opera? Never but I'd love to.
>Went to hear a symphony play? Never but I'd love to.
>Went to hear chamber music? Never but I'd love to.
>Saw a ballet? I'm not too thrilled to but my girlfriend is a former ballerina so she might want to take me to one.
>Read philosophy? Yesterday.
>Visited an art gallery? Two months ago, like question 1.
Josiah Nguyen
when I was younger, modern art is shit never liked them, it's outdated Poetry is gay I've read nearly all of Shakespeare, Kant, Goethe and other dominant authors. currently doing ancient chink and nip ones One of my friends is an opera singer, sometimes watching it when it's something huge No but I'd like to, never found the time The fuck is chamber music Ballet is gay Always, but every direction of it, unlike some >muh nietzsche nihilism If you can count Japanese calligraphy exhibitions as an art gallery, yeah
Most of our older culture is gone I won't be some larping faggot who's gonna love every aspect of it just to keep it I know enough about it and that's enough
Parker Price
That's all kike and faggy shit. My culture is hunting, fishing, NASCAR, SEC football, grilling, and water skiing.
Nathan Bell
none of those things are my culture leaf, stop trying to impress your western imperialist notions of civilization on me you fucking pig
Nathaniel Kelly
Also this Perpetrated by them to rich aristocracy Real culture is mens culture Hunting, trades, sports, fishing, being the jack of all trades
Chase Jenkins
This. I'd rather pass on the fifth performance of postmodern family destroying garbage at my local theater. When they revive the classics let me know.
Ayden Moore
You all need to relax. All of this stuff is part of Western civilization and valuable in its own right. Just because your culture is hunting, fishing, and nascar, doesn't mean you can't enjoy what makes the West so great and beautiful.
Daniel James
My culture is guns, killing shit both foreign and domestic, and petrol Get fucked basedboy
Landon Campbell
That's not culture faggot.
Aiden Gutierrez

Go back to your filthy hovel plebeian, the men are discussing high culture here.
Jaxson Allen
>1. Went to an art museum? Went to three a week ago. >2. Went to see a play? A year ago. It was a weird college student thing but I kinda liked it. >3. Read poetry? A week ago, it was basic bitch stuff. Invictus. >4. Read literature? A week ago, it was a piece of rhetorical theory from the 60s. >5. Saw an opera? Never in my life. >6. Went to hear a symphony play? Two years ago. It was fantastic. >7. Went to hear chamber music? Two years ago, city had bi weekly performances and I went 4 times that summer. >8. Saw a ballet? Never. >9. Read philosophy? Yesterday. It was on the pluralism of truth and the misnomer that "post truth democracy" is >10. Visited an art gallery? A week ago. Saw all of the presidents portraits in DC.
All in all, it really is great to experience all of it and see what this nation has to offer on a local, regional, and national level. A lot of beauty and meaning to be found everywhere. Thanks for getting me to think about it, OP :)
Bentley Price
Actually it is, the ways different people go about accomplishing those hobbies or works is culture.
Gabriel Russell
>Went to an art museum? Went to several over the summer, loved them and want to go back! >Went and saw a play? Haven't for a while, I should go sometimes. >Read Poetry? Does Pslams count? >Read Literature? Got a library of books. Does that answer your question? >Saw an opera? I want to sooo bad!! >Went and heard a symphony play Used to play in a symphony band. >Went to hear chamber music? Nope. What the hell is that? >Saw a ballet? I want to, sound like fun. >Read philosophy? I'm going to school for political philosophy >Visited an art gallery No, they're full of leftist modern art
I see roughly 6 plays or musicals a year. My family every other weekend goes to a botanical garden or to a museum(even though I don’t believe in dinosaurs). We listen to baroque music two nights a week. I make my children spend an hour a day doing “arts” after school. We read EVERY NIGHT. We also make up our own songs to sing together.
Jeremiah Collins
Wow we need more brown people in white countries because of this.
Data mining threads should be ignored, but in your case, Leaf, I'll happily reply. The missus and I regularly attend symphony concerts and read books. We don't much visit art galleries like we used to, and we know it. I agree with you that people need to put their money where their mouth is. Cut the cable and stop consuming crap content, and start consuming good content and putting your money to that.
Adam Lewis
>sniff sniff
Jayden Watson
It's strange, because virtually no one actually cares about opera here. Only memeplays like Wicked are played in the Opera House. Also orchestras who only play for themselves and international critics and glitterati.
Leo Hughes
Modern (((culture))) is utter SHIT. You don’t see that because you’re a Canadian faggot.
Matthew Clark
Everything you mention is dead art. Culture is lived through a population, a Volk. Outside of that it is sterile, locked away and embalmed by intellectuals and academics.
Jonathan Perry
>culture >disgusting degenerate works of jews
William White
>posts garbage "art"
Nolan Flores
Sounds very wholesome. Dont deprive your kids of dinos, though. they're fucking cool
Benjamin Gutierrez
I have a computer for these things.
Leo Lee
>My culture is hunting, fishing, NASCAR, SEC football, grilling, and water skiing. Good for you. Never said it wasn't. However, thos things are only PART of your culture, and none of those things replaces art, literature, classical music, etc. If there's not room for both in your life, you have surrendered to "class divisions" . . . just as your are supposed to, just as they want you to.
>what is chamber music? are you absolutly fucking retarded? can you at least google?
Tyler Sullivan
Good insight. I feel like I wade through mountains of shit to get at anything good. But it is great to find those things that stand out. I think the most normie way to understand this is music. Alot of it is kitsch, but there are some songs that are like. "This is what rap/folk/Americana/pop is and should be"
Anthony King
Why don't you believe in dinosaurs are you trolling you can't possibly dispute dinosaurs didn't exsist
Jacob Jackson

Leo Bell
He's just following what his retarded boomer parents taught him.
Kevin Turner
Yeah dismissing anything in its entirety is the sure sign of someone who is intellectually lazy, but think they arent.
Carson Gray
1. i'm check out art very frequently, even buy some for my house, but no, i don't go to museums, i figure it's the same thing i'm looking at, and i don't really care about the "experience of seeing it in person", it's all the same to me. 2. i'll give you this, i don't really like plays, though i do like movies, which is similar to a play. 3. sometimes. 4. all the time. 5. yes, but on youtube. I love falsetto, soprano, countertenor especially. 6. again, yes, but not in person. 7. not in person, but yes. 8. yes, once in person, moreso watched online. 9. all the time. 10. not really into current day art.
i'm surprised you didn't stipulate that you "have to read philosophy/literature in a university library", given that you made that stipulation for music and art. Why the discrepancy?
Joseph Stewart
Lol. I am an American, not some faggy European. >shot my guns last weekend >beat up a nigger Last Wednesday >went to church Every Sunday >said mean words on the internet without being arrested Every damn day of every week.
Jason Perry

John Clark
My favourite American of all time turned out to be English.
Jaxson Johnson
Typical amerimutt.
Joseph Perez
was he a cuck too?
Jayden Taylor
>>leftist faggot activities that only 0.01% of the population enjoys If you don't help keep it alive, you can't complain when your children grow up rootless and dominated by other people's cultures.
That's not helping, Hans. I also don't know what chamber music is. It's probaly some american concert in which they have music in a chamber of sorts...
Eli Foster
1) The nearest art museums to me are in shitlib cities full of ratpeople and CHUDs, and they have replaced great works of Western civilization with bullshit by jews indians wimminz and nigs.
However I regularly look at galleries online.
2) Same with plays.
3) Poetry is for faggots. Except ancient Greek/Latin and Elizabethan. I read those regularly.
4) "Read literature" is an illiterate's phrase, so fuck off.
5) Ditto "saw" an opera; also, see 1).
6-10) You really are illiterate.
Those of you who aren't leaf morons, I'd like to remind you that this is the time of year when all good white men should enjoy the sacred ritual of Parsifal. I listen to this one on vinyl:
Nothing complicated. It's just music played by a smaller number of players. Usually in a room smaller than a big concert hall, but sometimes in a concert hall. pic related
>1. Went to an art museum? 2 week ago >2. Went to see a play? last year - midsummer's night dream >3. Read poetry? everyday >4. Read literature? most days >5. Saw an opera? fuck off >6. Went to hear a symphony play? this year >7. Went to hear chamber music? last year >8. Saw a ballet? faggot >9. Read philosophy? every day >10. Visited an art gallery? last week, I've got culture coming out of my arse!
I don’t believe dinosaurs existed, I believe what bones have been found are those of the great dragons that great men have fought throughout the ages. No one believed in dinosaurs until much bogus propaganda pushed the idea on the public which was an attempt to destroy the past. This is what I believe, my children love dinosaurs so I humor them. If they ask I tell them what I believe.
Levi Watson
>1. Went to an art museum? January when I last had time off work. Been busy this year. >2. Went to see a play? Its been a long while. Live theatre is too degenerate these days for my liking. >3. Read poetry? Two days ago, I reread "If" by Kipling in order to quote a line. >4. Read literature? Last night. I just started Heart of Darkness. >5. Saw an opera? Never. I prefer symphony and im not into Opera. >6. Went to hear a symphony play? Last year >7. Went to hear chamber music? January. >8. Saw a ballet? Not since I was young and had to attend my sisters recitals. Not into ballet. >9. Read philosophy? Tarrants manifesto a fortnight ago. >10. Visited an art gallery/ January.
A lot of those things have nothing to do with British culture anyway.
Jace Cooper
>When was the last time you: >1. Went to an art museum? I went to the tate when i was on business in London last month. The national gallery here doesn't come close >2. Went to see a play? No stage faggots. >3. Read poetry? Last night. >4. Read literature? Constantly read during commutes on the train to work. Mostly old esoteric texts from Eliphas levi these days. >5. Saw an opera? Yes. Tosca but it was over 6 months ago. >6. Went to hear a symphony play? Yes. Zimmerman last time he was here. Or based Yngiew with the Japanese Philharmonic is on regular rotation for me. >7. Went to hear chamber music? No fuck. >8. Saw a ballet? I'm cultured not a faggot. >9. Read philosophy? Yes regularly. >10. Visited an art gallery? Are you retarded? If you mean a pop up exhibition of new artists, yes a few. But mostly for the free Champaign and to laugh at pretentious losers. >Your answers should tell you a lot about your commitment to your culture. K/so >You might talk a good game -- but what do you actually DO? All of the above, plus hold down a well paid job. Support my wife and 2 kids, while still taking time to better myself. For example, I'm learning Python at the moment for shits and giggles. What do you do leaf beyond posturing on the internet while contributing nothing of value yourself?
