ere is the state broadcaster teaching kids which insects are cool to eat.

>So why are insects - the farmed kind, not ones you’d pluck out of the ground - great to eat?

>Health benefits
>Insects are a great source of protein and minerals, such as iron, zinc and magnesium. For example: if you eat two silkmoth larvae, you’ll get 10 times more iron than if you eat 100 grams of beef. Also, 100 grams of insects (crickets, beetles, red ants and grasshoppers) contains almost the same amount of protein as meat, but with less fat and fewer calories. Insects can also be good for your immune system. They include a protein called chitin that encourages healthy bacteria to grow in your stomach.

>Environmentally friendly
>According to a 2013 study by the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization, eating insects may help Earth. Farming insects takes up a lot less space than raising cows or pigs. Fewer animal farms mean less land is used - and forests cleared - to grow our food. Insect farms also produce less greenhouse gasses than animal farms.

>Who’s eating insects?
>Insects are being gobbled up by 80% of the world’s population, specifically by people in Asia, Africa and Latin America. They’re eating over 1,900 different types of insects. In order of popularity:

>MOST POPULAR: beetles and caterpillars
>NEXT POPULAR: wasps, grasshoppers, locusts, crickets and ants
>LEAST POPULAR: termites and flies

This is not satire.

Canada is gay.

Canada also released a new food guide that is 90% vegan. They eliminated meat, cheese and dairy and encourage Canadians to eat "alternative protein sources" such as $oy, tofu, pulses and insects.

I LOVE BUGS

the horror has only started

How do you make steaks out of bugs they are too small this thread is dumb

1 ant weighs 1mg. So to consume 100g would mean eating 100,000 ants and you still wouldn't be getting as much protein as you would from a quarter pound of ground beef.

A grasshopper weighs 0.5g. You'd need to eat 200 grasshoppers.

A cricket weighs 0.25. You'd need to eat 400 crickets.

Truly a clown world.

Attached: honk.png (512x512, 207K)

there's literally multiple meats in in picture you've posted, if you're going to make a claim you probably shouldn't prove it wrong with your own picture

Imagine all of the chewing, swallowing, trying to catch the bugs, etc. Would eating that many bugs actually create a caloric deficit, that is, the energy spent eating them, chewing them, is less than the calories your body could actually absorb? Remember, just because a bug has 0.1g of protein, doesn't mean the human body can absorb all of it. It probably can only absorb a tiny fraction of that, and besides protein, bugs have no fat or carbs, so basically eating bugs is pointless and makes you starve.

It's like celery. Eating celery is actually calorie negative, because it has so few calories and your body spends more energy digesting it than it can acquire from it. I assume bugs are the same. So even if you lifted heavy and ate 5000 grasshoppers a day, you'd waste away until you were a skeleton and die of starvation, malnutrition, etc. Look at Africa. They have unlimited bugs, yet they starve to death unless the white man sends over meat and grains to prevent mass starvation.

2 slices of ham, $2
>$1 for a small slice of ham

They even weighed 2 slices of ham down to the gram, and put a sticker on it because it's literally rotting (packaged on February 8th, 2019, inedible by 11).

They wrapped it to stop it from rotting. Those are left over slices too, normally someone says they want X grams, a pound, etc, then the deli person slices the ham and weighs it out for them. Someone said they wanted all that was cut except for 2 slices for some reason. So those 2 slices sat around for days. So some deli manager came over and ordered it be wrapped up and sold instead of thrown away.

Ouch

Who pushes this shit? Here in the supermarkets there are whole isles for bugs. Never saw someone buy something like this.
Then Swiss television and radio had a new head of the youth part. He came and pushed insects they made a whole format so they could do one YouTube vid with a "cook" who told you how great bugs are. After that they binned the format.
Who is pushing this and why?

Just post the Bug prices and there can be an end to the horror

Bugmen. To weaken European man.

>Here in the supermarkets there are whole isles for bugs.
Wat?

Look at this (((VICE))) propaganda

They claim steak has only 25g protein and 19g fat, for 271 calories (adds up, 9 calories/g fat, 4 calories per g protein, 19*9+25*4=171+100=271)

Then the (((math))) breaks down...

15G fat for caterpillars
58G protein
???286 calories???

15*9+58*4=135+232=367 calories

That's assuming neither have any carbs.

Attached: (((vice))) (((math))).png (1256x690, 1.19M)

If there's fat in your caterpillar you probably put it there.

Fuck is wrong with you dumbass this is literally going to be your children’s and grandchildren’s lives

Wrong. I'm not white and both my parents are naturalized citizens. When shit hits the fan, we're fleeing back to our country, where we have dual citizenship.

Agenda 21 garbage. Didn't they just say white peoples diets cause greenhouse gas or some bullshit? These Elites import Hajis, poos, and other "diversity'. All these different food types gets troublesome.
>Halal for the muzzies
>kosher for jews
>no meat fridays for catholics
>vegetarian for poos, and vegans
>watch out for allergies such as peanut butter

Well, you know we all have to live together so instead of having ten different food types why don't we all just eat bugs? Live in megacities, ride on bikes, and get gender transition operations. We'll be whistling zippy dee doo dah out of our assholes.

Leftists. They want to degrade and dehumanize you. While they dine on meat. They want you to be a serf

Rhetorical question? It's the Jews.

What? Really? wtf. You ask who? Same people who pushes global warming

Canada introduced a carbon tax yesterday too... price of everything has gone up 10-20% overnight. Best part is the carbon tax goes up every year by 100%, so in 3 years it'll be 300% of what it is today

It's a jewish shit test to see how gullible the goyim really are. Canadian grocery defense force out in force today.

too bad most bugs are haram, are you being Islamophobic, Canada? :^(

In all seriousness, crickets are the only thing considered halal. I used to work in a kindergarten and actually bought crickets and mealworms to see if kids were willing to try it. Wasnt anything serious, just thought it would be fun as a Fear Factor thing. Kids were actually pretty open to it. We made smoothie, meatballs and fries with them. It aint that bad if you blend them into other stuff. But I do question the actual advantage it has compared to other meats. Also, small mealworms aint that bad without blending tbqh. Large mealworms and crickets, Id recommend blending.
