And THEN, the worst scam of all: hiring manager FEELING (not thinking) they need "someone with a degree" for a particular job position, where college is ONLY proof of potential, and NOT proof of ability, though you would not know that from job postings _AND_ H.R. screening mooks using key words and tricky phrases to hand pick who gets an interview and who doesn't...
In the software engineering world, non-degree'd people are often WAY BETTER than those with degrees, since engineers can't stomach that kind of indoctrination... but "academic arrogant" types seem to LIVE for it, and willingly swallow the entire 'package' of liberalism.
