Try it OP. People complain about work often, but being devoid of responsibility really starts causing depression and skews your value. You start to project outward a lot too. Yes but not proud of it. I constantly wish I lived a normal life. But I can't get any job because I'm 29 and no one will hire me with an empty resume at this age.

What are you good at? What's something you like? What do you do for fun? The problem with a lot of NEETs is that they're always waiting for something to come to them instead of making something and making their own opportunities. You have more power over the situation than you think.

I'm one. It's fucking hell. Every day my life is slipping away and I can only watch and hope whatever new medication or therapist I get will save me, but it's almost been a decade since I graduated high school. You can make bank with overtime over the course of 3 months, and then fuck off wherever you want the rest of the year. They hire literally anyone willing to go to Alaska and work for them, most even throw in room and board and some of the travel cost.

Processing centers process the catches fishermen bring in, package it, and send it down the lower 48.
You stand around and do some simple repetitive action with your hands all day. Easy as fuck. This happens in big centers on land, you don't have to set foot on a boat.
Trucking has at least 15 years left before mass automation. Considering you can make 75k a year easy doing it, you could set yourself up with a home in that time frame.

I'm suffering from social phobia and schizoaffective disorder. All day and night I have hallucinations that I'm being psychically attacked by fucking reptillians. There are times when the voices in my head are so ever present that I can't have a conversation even with my family, much less have a job interview. I'm not at that stage yet to have one of those, and far from healthy enough to start my own business. One more issue that I have is, due to childhood trauma, doing chores is extremely emotionally painful for me to do, even thought I would probably cry out of joy if I spend the entire day doing them. There simply are some difficulties in my life that can't be solved with the attitude you're trying have me adopt, though I'm quite grateful that you've tried. You have motivated me to do more, however. Thank you.

Yeah don't sell yourself short user. It hurts to see people that are fully capable get denied and then start to think they're worthless. It happens a lot and has happened to me plenty. I was laid off a while back and applied to nearly 1,000 jobs. I only got two interviews. Out of desperation, I put up some things I did as a hobby on Etsy. It surprisingly turned into my full-time job and I work from home doing things I like. Every situation is different, but don't think you're worthless, don't think the things you like doing won't get you anywhere, don't think you're unskilled. A lot can happen. Don't give up.

I was a NEET for a couple of years. It wasn't very fun. The only good thing about it was having all the free time to do whatever. But not having a job meant I had to contribute not through rent but in other ways so I'm always talking people and things places fetching things. Doing chores. honestly, just to survive you only need 5-10$ per day. that's not very wealthy. food is like $5 a day in america, and that's eating a very healthy diet with all your nutrients the remaining $5 per day is just utilities, car insurance, gas, gym membership, etc. it's very cheap. i really don't cost them anything, they told me to quit my job anyway
