If their self reported numbers are accurate, the only way their population recovered is through hundreds of thousands, millions of grifters joining their ranks. The fact that it's such an abhorrent crime to deny means that it's not something discussed in polite society which leads to these sorts of shady claims being given credence by natural sceptics who wonder why questioning the details of an historic event is so frowned upon. Having direct and reasonable responses to these denial claims, complete with explanation and information is very important and useful in ensuring the truth is exposed, or in this case, that the truth continues to be the naturally accepted fact.
