A lot of his videos in this trip to Japan have a clear edge to them, he's either working himself off camera (Japanese naturalization process? intensive japanese language lessons?) or is generally stressed. I don't hate him but I don't like him either. I've watched dozens of his videos to understand the phenomenon. What I come away with is that he is good-looking, reasonably intelligent, childish/goofy, and continuously low-key entertaining.
