Thus, overland flooding and high water along small streams will expand across much of south central North Dakota, between the Missouri River and the James River Valley. This includes the Beaver Creek tributaries in Emmons County, the tributaries of the James and Maple Rivers in Stutsman, LaMoure, and Dickey Counties, as well as the Prairie Pothole region of Kidder, Logan and McIntosh counties.
