What is the average day of someone 18-24? Can people in this range tell me how their day looks like from waking to sleep? I am trying to change my lifestyle and wanted to know what exactly a normal day looks like for most.

holy shit, imagine being that insecure

How am I being insecure? I am just out of touch and there's no one else I can ask.

> Be me, age 22
> Wake up 8 AM
> Oatmeal and coffee breakfast
> Go to work at 8:30
> Basic retail job. 8 hour shift with 1 hour lunch.
> Lunch is something I grab and go from a sub shop near work. Sometimes I pack sandwiches or something.
> Get home around 5:30 PM
> Take shower
> Make dinner. Not fancy. Mac & Cheese with spinach mixed in is good.
> Go online, check email, texts, ect. Anything going on?
> If so, time to chill with people.
> If not time for internet and gaming.
> Bed time is 10 PM.

Alterations for weekend:
> On Fridays after work I take a shower then like to go to cafes and lounge. Bring my 3DS, chat with random people. So comfy.
> On Saturdays I like to try to meet up with people. Watch a movie, go shopping, be stupid.
> On Sundays it's a mellow Saturday. Sometimes I stay home and do housework.

Not exciting but there you go. I avoided the college trap. Considering trade school or moving up into management. I'm still on the fence. Either would take more of my time but would mean more money. Leaning towards shooting for manager. The boss likes me for not being late, not going on smoke breaks (I don't smoke) and not ditching work at random. So many folks are worthless these days.

My average day as an 19-year-old from the U.K. is vastly different from people I know personally... or anyone else on this planet.

Some of my friends are much more outgoing than I am, but at the same time I have friends who the opposite. I have one friend that goes out every second day and another that does nothing but look up D&D stuff online.

And there's probably some weird bozo that I knew from childhood who's average day is completely out of the social norm. Like, REAL weird. Maybe he does nothing but eat and crap out crayons all day for entertainment. I dunno.

How the fuck is anyone suppose to know what the average day for a specific age group is supposed to be like, let alone for anyone beyond that spectrum? It doesn't matter as long as you're satisfied with it.

Time is much more important and sadly I wasted some trying to come up with an answer. You could also try to spend it more wisely by doing anything else, literally as long as it matters to you.

Thanks, this is quite useful, I appreciate the answer.
I'm not really trying to copy another person's way of living, I'm just trying to get a feel for how people split up work, school, hanging out with people, productive hobby time, and doing nothing of value time. Thanks for the input though.

> be me, 19
> if school is happening, go to it
> attend classes
> pick up a coffee at some point
> skip breakfast and lunch
> drink more coffee
> go home and do homework
> chill
> maybe hang out with friends that night
> I can’t do parties well, since I clam up
> therefore I chill with friends and drink
> fuck wagecucking, my parents pay for everything I need

So, how is that student loan looking?

Honestly what student loan?

Initially I went to a school that was 38k a year, and left after the first semester. The govt only let me take out 1.75k in personal loans for the semester. The rest was on my parents. Now, I’m at community college and my parents pay for it all (about 3k a semester).

I want to go to law school, which will have to be all on me, but student loans?? Where do people even get loans without credit scores? I wanted to pay for my entire education, but it seemed like none of the companies give out huge loans to kids unless their parents are co-signers (basically making them pay for it).

So, are you happy with being the average Joe and giving up in your dreams?
You are going to wageslave yourself to death just like your parents.

Getting bored in uni

Good job asking that here

You did well dude, college is full of leftist propaganda anyway.

>wake up at 6am
>go to the library at 7am to work on homework
>class all day until around 3-4pm
>eat dinner and head back to the dorm
>work on homework/procrastinate until 9pm
>sleep

On weekends I usually mix homework and leisure like video games, reading or movies.

>25
>Wake up at 8:45
>Get dressed

I think I'm a pretty normal 18 y.o. dude, planning to work in prison in a year because I know my strengths and patience for learning useless information isn't one.

wake up, hobbies/vidya, school, work, hobbies/vidya, sleep.

smoke weed wherever I want to in the midst of that because my grades and work haven't really been effected

my hobbies are actual skills (namely music/art shit) that i like to think im getting better at, and hobbies/vidya is always open to being interrupted to hang with my family or friends. my schoolwork is completely online, which helps me function.

If you come out here thinking theres a normal way to live, you're probably doing it wrong. Live the way that keeps you happy while assuring future prospects.

I'm 32 now but that age line

Wake up
Work/play vidjas if I'm off
Then evening, go to bars or parties and get turnt.
I also liked spending half my nights at home on Jow Forums or reading about career paths I could take or getting stuck in YouTube or Wikipedia related video/article Wells.

That was pretty much all of it.

>25
>wake up at 6:20
>shower, shavings, breakfast
>dressed up and on a bus stop at 7:20
>arriving on a work facility at 8:30
>doing my job (engi here)
>taking lanch-break at 12:00
>hanging out with coworkers
>come back working at 13:00
>17:00 finished working
>going to pub/cafe with friends or home
>browsing, playing videa/guitar, watchin movies, preparations for next day
>bedtime starts 00:00
>meeting with friends/family on weekends
>sometime events from youth concul to participate: mostly volunteering
Nothing special, life seems normal, but I always battle myself to do stuff.

Wake up at 7:00, wake bae up at 7:30 have a quicky. Shower and get dressed.
8:30 go to my job, get home at 4:30. Watch podcasts or intervieuws till 5:30 go out and eat with friends or gf go home around 7/9 depends. Drink a case of beer and smoke a joint. Talk the day through with gf. Be lewd or go to sleep. 24y/o

>10 pm-ish

Walk/bike wherever you can (in general, do cardio), separate work from private life, get enough sleep, stay hydrated. And always do at least something social once a week. Shit's important.

what parties are you still being invited to at 32...

what is trade school?

Trade schools are specialized schools for older teens and adults that ONLY teach things related to a trade.

For example, you can go there to learn to be an auto mechanic, get network security certifications, or even do plumbing or wiring.

There are no bullshit filler courses. You won't be made to take feminist dance theory on your quest to becoming a carpenter or something. As a consequence, it moves a lot faster than college. It's cheaper and more effective, too.

Perfect for any trade where you work with your hands, need certifications, or would possibly start as an apprentice.

I live a sad life don't be like me
I'm 35 btw

Get up at 6AM
Go to work at 7AM
Get home anywhere from 4PM-9PM
Repeat until weekend, when I just play vidya or hang out with only friend group

I didn’t think drinking on a week day would be that bad until I started doing it on work days. Fuck me dude

Everyday is a constant cycle of regret and anxiety then great comfort and pleasure in the afternoon.
I can't live the normie life mate. I don't know how people can get through life sober, everything is so boring and unfulfilling without getting a buzz on to escape if only for the evening.
The thought of cracking a beer after work pushes me through the day.

>go to cafes and lounge, chat with randos
Where do I find cafes that this is a thing at? I feel like all the ones i've been in are people grabbing coffee/whatevs and running

>wake up at 5:00
