Welcome Aboard user

Flight 302 to Nairobi is now ready for takeoff. What do?

Is Boeing to blame or is the operation of advanced technology best left to White guys?

Its boeing, This happens sometimes. Sadly, its not true that planes are all that secure. Remember the DC 10's? Remember those things fucking EXPLODING over metropolitan areas?!

He looks 18.

>What do?

Nothing, as I wouldn't be on final destination going to a shit hole in the first place.

Looks white to me

I hate to break it to you, but Boeing engineers are mostly Pajeets. Also, they just found another software problem.

The MCAS or anti-stall software is designed as follows. There is an angle of attack (plane tilt) sensor on each side of the plane. If the sensors differ by too much an error goes off in the software and takes over the plane and tilts the nose forward. When it does this, since the plane is flying at a normal AOA it starts to dive.

Boeing also sold an optional sensor light that would go off when the AOA sensors differed. Apparently this was missing from both flights, so the pilots had no idea these new AOA things disagreed. It ahould be noted that the AOA sensors display proper identical numbers, the "difference" switch can still go off due to likely a bug in the code.

Apparently the AOA difference sensor was triggered by a bug, the planes didnt have the AOA difference light ssensor so by looking at the AOA readings the pilots wouldnt have had a clue that it was a bug in the AOA difference sensor. The plane would have hijacked their autopilot and manual controls and just started tilting the plane nose as far as possiblr down (until the AOA difference sensor would have gone from error to ok, but due to a bug it wouldnt have stopped).

So basically the pilots took off, then all of a sudden they would lose control while ascending and the plane would just fucking start nose diving at hundreds of feet a second. The pilots had no idea of the MCAS system because it was only added as a foot note in the new Boeing 8X Max technical manual and hey received no training. So the desperate pilots basically had no fucking clue why the plane was nose diving when thr AOA sensors were fine (remember it was a bug in the difference sensor, likely a pajeet put a != Instead of a = sign), so the pilots tried to gain control of the throttle to tilt the plane up but the computer kept taking back control and nose diving the plane until they flew nose first into the ground at full speed.

Attached: 1549772415629.gif (283x283, 462K)

Same thing happened to a swedish crew who followed all the steps and nothing happened. Put crap behind the yolk and you get a shitshow

Also should be noted this would be the most fucking terrifying way to die as a passenger. You're taking off and ascending to cruising altitude then all of a sudden the plane starts to nose dive for no reason, if youre not buckled up you would have been thrown around the cabin like a rag doll. Likely the stewardesses were thrown around like miniture wooden babushkas all around.

The pilots would have likely been panicking, but telling people to remain calm and buckle up. People would have thought a terror attack might be underway.

Then all of a sudden the free fall would have stopped and the pilots would have gone max throttle and forced a few G forces onto the passengers. Then the computer system would have taken over again and nose dived the plane into free fall.

Repeat a few times until the plane is in terminal free fall nose first and the passengers can see the ground below them coming at them at 800mph until the plane crumpled like a paper airplane and everyone on board was vapourized like dust.

Boeing. Not even once.

The stuff of nightmares

Those two make a good case that Boeing fucked up big. Not cool.

interestingengineering.com/pilots-have-40-secs-to-try-to-save-737-max-8-if-autopilot-malfunctions?fbclid=IwAR1Kr-762cUHw-O4efg_9c-YiykBX1jk-7dB0aBxudJIajVc-e5AeMRk2Bc

>According to two unnamed sources for the New York Times report who were involved in the tests, the pilots in the simulators had less than 40 seconds to disengage the system in order to prevent a fatal crash. When the system engaged, it would do so for ten second, pushing the nose down. Then it would pause for five seconds before reengaging for another ten seconds, pushing the nose down even further. After a final five second pause, it would engage for a third time, pushing the nose of the plane far enough down that the plane would enter a nosedive too steep for any pilot to recover from.

Attached: 7ff.jpg (288x499, 56K)

>Designed to engage only if a pilot took so steep an angle that the plane would stall, it was considered simply an automatic failsafe, something a pilot would rarely, if ever, encounter. Boeing and regulators believed that pilots didn't even need to be told about this feature at all, and only sent out notices about the system after the Lion Air investigation started to suggest that this system might have played a role in the crash.

>Boeing and regulators believed that pilots didn't even need to be told about this feature at all

Attached: 1553036009231.jpg (250x196, 9K)

>In order to fully shut down the MCAS function that was pushing the plane into a nosedive, the pilots would have to flip the switch at their thumb, then flip two more switches elsewhere that would shut down the power to the motor the MCAS used to push the nose down. Then, the pilot would then need to turn a crank to fix any remaining problems caused by the system before they would have control of the aircraft again.

Three different switches in a specific order followed turning a wheel with a crank—while fighting an autopilot system seemingly hellbent on sending the plane into a nosedive—in less than 40 seconds.

I AM THE CAPTAIN NOW

Why is there no "manual flight only" mode where they can operate it like a fucking Cessna

The plane crash left a crater 10 meters deep. No bodies are expected to be recovered as they were vapourized.

This is the power of hiring retarded 3rd world "programmers" to save some money.

It literally was because of one computational operand

>if (|AOA[1].angle - AOA[2].angle| < 5.00 degrees) activate(MCAS.nose_dive); if (AOA_optional_difference_for$500,000_installed.flash_light;

was likely the bug. Since the sensors were not faulty they would have been virtually identical, and that code would have been executed repeatedly until the plane crashed at terminal velocity nose first

Fucking wew

Holy fuck that's terrifying. Whats terminal velocity for a 737? They woule have been in a nose first free fall for several minutes

NZ shooting was specifically engineered to draw attention out of the Boeing Flying Coffins

The new engines make the plane literally uncontrollable.

Arent they just more efficient? If so, they should be less powerful. What makes them uncontrollable?

That sounds so insanely bad. I have flight from New York (closest airport) to san fran next week and I can see its an A320. Is Airbus better than Boeing in this regard?

I dont get why they would need an automated death trap aka anti-stall system. Every pilot is taught how to recover from a stall, fuck it's not even a big deal, if you stall push the nose down until youre not stalled from what i understand.

I think I'm going to be sick. I can just imagine being a pilot in that cockpit. It's like a horror movie or like the opening scene of a movie that involves literally sending people to their fate via a terrorist attack, except it wasn't malice but fucking pajeet shitting up everything. You know what? If I could choose, I'd eliminate Indians if given the option between them and the Chinese.

What happened with air france flight 447 then?

Foolish.

has it come out that it was a coding error and done by a Poo???

I'm also wondering how in the 2 years of the Max's operation, how did other pilots not encounter this and crash earlier?

In that case if I recall the AOA sensors were iced up and were giving bad data or not working at all. It was night time so the pilots had no idea what their AOA was and were flying blind. The MCAS system wouldnt have saved them as it depends purely on the AOA sensors and would have just sent them head first into the ocean instead of falling backwards

Probably a software update with the bug. Airplanes get new software upgrades all the time. Remember the bug assumes the AOA sensors are fucked if theyre too close instead of being too far apart or not working.

I envy their paycheck and performance but at least the cable flight control rigging in the humble Cessna is reliable.

Just makes you wonder how many current bugs there are yet to be detected and how many are coming down the pike.

anyone?

It was malware, but they aren't releasing that information because it would open up a huge can of worms (and scare the general public).

A320 had the sort of problems 20 years ago

Because the modded plane is now aerodynamically unstable and pitches up by itself. So software fix was used to avoid retraining pilots.

LMAO....green or blue eyes is white only. regardless the skin complexion.

Lots. Just wait until they try to automate cars. Same situation. New bug is introduced via auto-update and all of a sudden the cars auto-pilot fucks up and doesnt recognize the road divider and drives straight into an oncoming car.

No "AI" is inherently intelligent. Heck machine learning is nothing new, neural nets have been around for decades. All "AI" can do is detect the similarity between some data with some accuracy.

LOL..you would have to exclude females and minorities from being pilots. You racist....

>Airplane
>Aerodynamically unstable

What the fuck was Boeing even thinking?

Young pilots today rely way to much on automated systems. This is the problem. The older generation is going into retirement now so we're fucked.

fly Airbus fuck boeing

boeing employees a shit ton of poo in the loo engineers to cut costs.

>hire pajeets to code your plane software
>hire niggers to fly your pajeet code plane
What could go wrong? They could only make it worse by letting a roastie pilot it

Attached: 1535474820592.png (1034x780, 970K)

this, when niggers and women are flying fucking planes you know things are getting bad

Attached: 1536389975180.jpg (1920x1080, 150K)

They all have issues. However, planes are still a safer method of travel in comparison to cars.

No actually ita not. How many people fly everyday? Now think about how many people drive or take a car everyday

You're fucking dense if you think otherwise. Automotive fatalities rates are around ~2 per 100 million miles. Planes are next to 0

nsc.org/work-safety/tools-resources/injury-facts/chart

If you're flying it yourself maybe, relying on a nigger or roastie to pilot a plane is far more dangerous

All are in agreement that it was in the air and on fire at the same time....

Now they are reporting the information on every channel

Now I will tell you why

Best to see the results yourselves before jumping off the top floor of Jow Forums HQ

An Aerospace Engineering Student, Alessio Vinci was found dead in Paris on 1/19/19

On his computer was the coded message titled ETP

Ethiopian Airlines ET302 was brought down with a string of others that included the MH370, MH17, Lion Air, Air Asia, and more.....

They are plotting and scheming and have bragged about it by luring this kid into a "MOMO" game they created to convince him to be the errand boy that delivered the key.

The key is released in this case only halfway through "the game" and this was set up to create a massive front and threat.

Pompeo just claimed he was going to deny investigators from foreign countries any visas to keep the US from being held accountable while the Administration is in hiding.

They were busted so hard that they are now playing damage control

Another Jow Forums victory

There should be a big red button on the instrument panel that disengages all computers. Or better yet, a big circuit breaker that cuts power to the computers when pulled.

>advanced technology
Boeing's R&D department fell behind their european competitors so when airbus put out a new passenger liner boeing had to act fast to stay competitive.
developing a new airframe is expensive and time consuming so they decided to save time by cutting corners.
instead of developing a new jet they simply attached newer more efficient engines to their existing 737 airframe.
the problem with this is that the new engines are a different size and the 737 was not designed to use them.
as a result the flight characteristics were altered and the flight stabilizer systems had to be changed to compensate.
the new engines cause the plane to want to stall when traveling at low speeds, to compensate they designed the control system to pitch the nose down under certain conditions.
this action is automatic and there is nothing the pilots can do to prevent it without disabling the control system manually.
experienced pilots know intuitively when they need to do this, but less experienced pilots would not know what the problem is or what to do about it.

TL;DR, the problem is a combination of Boeing's laziness and declining engineering standards as well as third world airlines general lack of pilot experience

Outside the US (and east asian countries under US influence) pilots aren't taught how to fly the plane, they just get training for landing and take off. That's why a lot of accidents happen in China, Africa and Europe.

It’s stupid to hand over control of a plane to the software engineer. May as well let the guy who designed the landing gear, or tail, or seats, fly the plane. In this case, there was no need for a “stick pusher” device in the first place. The stick pusher is the pilot. Stick pushers were invented for planes with T tails. I.E. the horizontal part is on TOP of the vertical fin, like the letter T. Planes like Learjet, 727, DC9. With this design, if a wing stall (caused by excessive upward angle of attack) is not caught in time, it can quickly develop into a “deep stall”, which is unrecoverable. Hence the need for an automatic safety device, just in case. Sound like a stupid way to design a plane? Maybe, but there are certain advantages to T-tails. Point is, the 737, being of conventional design, simply does not need a stick pusher or any other anti-stall device. The pilot is the anti-stall device. And every airplane, including a Cessna, has at least one stall WARNING device. This is a case of over-engineering.

exactly, it's so easy the designers incorporated a system to do it automatically....

Airbus is inferior to Boeing but I would have no qualms about flying in either.

Without fly by wire most modern planes can't fly, because the computer controls the surface area of the plane allowing it to fly more efficiently and require less fuel, etc.

He could be. That’s the minimum age for a Commercial Pilot Licence. kek

This is literally a thread made by Boeing trying to stop their company from going under.

the problem with this is that certain aerodynamic features of the plane are inherently unstable.
so if you completely open all control loops simultaneously the plane would become almost impossible to fly

It was a software error, that's why you can't hire any cheap pajeet to write your code.

>bug in the code

Wow who could've ever guessed that?

Attached: POO PROGRAMING.png (963x809, 176K)

>This is a case of over-engineering.
no, this is a case of unimaginative engineers failing to consider all possible scenarios.
again, Boeing was falling behind their european competitors so the corporate pressure to get something out the door and into production must have been immense

Niggers on a plane. youtu.be/Lva7xOJRRCA

maybe actually read it and notice the threads ripping boeing apart before spewing your ignorant opinion into the aether

Why don't they have Windows 10 expert certified consults with degrees from Bangalore in a call center in Hyderabad answering calls from pilots when their planes are crashing? Wouldn't that be helpful? Just call the customer service center, press 1, press 1, press 2, press 1, press 2, press 2, say name, type in plane serial number, hold five minutes, explain issue, get told to restart, try to restart, pull plug and plug back in, clear internet cache, escalate to call center in New Delhi, etc. Why doesn't Boeing provide top grade notch performance high level Windows 10 medallion expertise any time any where online web 2.0 to pilot?? This top service any time anywhere best Windows consulting award winning offshore IT consult producing top performance sure to please customer of American microsoft plane

I the captain now

Boeing is going down along with your stock portfolio you kike

Most modern commercial / military planes are fly-by-wire. But not the 737 MAX, aside from spoiler control.

The Jews made a movie about this. They have to tell you how they are going to kill you. In this case with nigger pilots.

>pilots had anything to do with this
Yeah dude recovering from a stall by pushing the throttle is really stupid of them, especially when they're getting stall warnings because a faulty system inherent to the design would tell any pilot in that situation the same thing. Nigger pilots are shit but this would have happened to any pilot.

This thread is literally Boeing's PR niggers going on the offensive trying to stop the company from crashing and burning like one of their pajeet programmed piece of shit planes

Based Somali pirate

Not true at all. Commercial airliners are very conventional, very stable platforms. You’re thinking of modern fighter aircraft. Stability and maneuverability are diametrically opposed to each other. In order for a fighter to be insanely maneuverable, it has to be extremely unstable. Many modern fighters cannot stay in the air without computer assistance. They would simply tumble out of the sky. Not so for a conventional aircraft where stability takes design precedence over maneuverability.

The problem with that is that the possible scenarios are virtually infinite.

you guys are ridiculing the death of an Israelite, you should be ashamed of yourself Edomites, repent to your father Amalekites, get thee behind me Satan. no salvation for you in the kingdom of heaven for you.

>What is centre of lift
