Employed Polfags - Discussion

Does Jow Forums believe our economy is doing so well and there is a massive labor shortage (skilled and unskilled). Therefore, we need immigrantion to boost the economic growth. I keep hearing this narrative while the U.S labor participation rate is 64%.

>Does Jow Forums believe our economy is doing so well and there is a massive labor shortage (skilled and unskilled).
Fuck no
Inflation numbers are fudged
Wages were stagnant for a decade, maybe barely moving up.
Rent has increased faster than wages by far
There is no labor shortage, just employers unwilling to pay for experienced workers, and the pay they they deserve.
Which is why we have H1B, and both parties unwilling to stop immigration (legal and otherwise).

>more boomers retiring
>labor participating going down
There is a shortage of labor, just not in rural areas that people feel entitled to live in their whole lives with thriving local industry. Back when people weren't pussies, they moved to where jobs were.

Memeflaggot is right.

Employers are so fucking dumb they'd rather be a revolving door company constantly hiring/training people than pay for experience to stay.

cbsnews.com/news/moving-for-work-getting-increasingly-rare/
People would rather bitch to the gubmint to help them than take a risk and bet on themselves

You seem to not see the correlation between living in the city and higher costs of living. Combine this with the fact that the city is full of insufferable retards and it's not really surprising that most people don't want to fucking move there.

then go on welfare or sell pills

>t. boomer

You make yourself so easy to spot. "Just take a chance and move to the big city!". I agree, the government should start by cutting your Social Security and Medicare effective immediately.

I'm 26

Have you ever heard of a low cost suburb and commuting?

>Employers are so fucking dumb they'd rather be a revolving door company constantly hiring/training people than pay for experience to stay.

>People would rather bitch to the gubmint to help them than take a risk and bet on themselves
Like move to the San Fransisco area to work for (((Big Tech))) and pay exorbitant rent just to break even at the end of the month?
fuck that.

>low cost suburb and commuting
Suburbs of San Fransisco where a 1000sqft home is $1.5Million, and you get a 90 minute soul sucking commute each way?

>Employers are so fucking dumb they'd rather be a revolving door company constantly hiring/training people than pay for experience to stay

I work in construction and I experience this first hand. The only way to get a better salary is to move from company to company every 2 or 3 years.

There's 49 other states, baby. Move to fucking Columbus or Nashville

Yes. In NYC every one has openings and people are leaving for new and better jobs left and right. My friend who just moved here found work within a week.

>Columbus or Nashville
5 figure income cities

What’s wrong with that? It is completely normal.

>Move to liberal controlled cities with mass amounts of feral nigger crime

Then throw your hands up, quit and bitch like a fucking woman, I don't care

...

Houston then

San Francisco is an anomaly and no one would suggest you move there.

Become cops. Smile and do job. Get decent money and you always have guns and tasers handy.

>Then throw your hands up, quit and bitch like a fucking woman, I don't care
The solution is to stop H1B and immigration.
Tariff imports
End rentier schemes like intellectual property.

>reconquer great white cities while pushing niggers and welfare illegals out

You are not cut out for the race war, papi

Those things are good and we are working toward that, but having pussies afraid to achieve at their highest level does not help. The cities are what you make them - they were and are built by whites - leaving them for nigs and chinks is a mistake.

>leaving them for nigs and chinks is a mistake.
that's the invisible hand fixing the problem.
they will destroy the value of those places to the point that whites can come in and gentrfy them

accelerate

I get that things aren't perfect. It's easy to see the faults and know the solutions and spot the people actively working against them. Fact is that people in the past had their unique set of challenges even if they didn't have to deal with these things. Part of being a productive member of the white race and doing what's best for your family is navigating the shit parts of the country to carve out your own success.

Yeah good luck organizing that in a liberal city bud. D+C shilling against rural whites is a sure sign of kikery.

I work in a specialized white collar/stem field that isn't tech or medicine related. This, combined with our main clients being municipalities, has given me a lot of insulation from immigration and economic instability. I make a fair amount more than average income for my area. Seems like a lot of people with no historical reference are suddenly waking up to the idea the last fifty years of a prosperous and large American middle class where you could be an uneducated fucktard and live comfortably was an aberration in our nation's history and we are returning to the norm of hyper wealthy private nobility, a small middle class, and a large underclass of laborers. You can tell who failed to pay attention in American history classes when they covered everything in between the revolution and world war 2.

Already well under way

there is no such thing as a labor shortage, skilled and un/nder/skilled
how would such a thing even be possible in the western world with regulated and guaranteed access to education
lets assume people graduating (public) college are on the mental level of 15/16 year סlds this still beats sandniggers who didn't even pass pre-school
we have a fair wage shortage
causing young people to drop out of the labor market or never get in to begin developing actual skill
what we need is skilled immigration, so chings and poos
not hordes of low IQ orcs who will only scare off skilled potential future migrants

>organizing
Kys, commie. We are outcompeting them.

I don't know about the US economy but France's economy has been shitty since the late 70's so... no. They DO import low skilled / low reservation wage third worlders to fill in the jobs they can't outsource (construction, restaurant etc.).
But 1st generation immigration are not the problem (kind of). The problem is they stay here, have kids that have the same reservation wage as young natives but they don't have the same cultural / social / financial heritage so they are fucked. So why are our elites allowing 1st generation immigrants to stay? Why not just having guest workers?
Well, the good news is 2nd generation immigrants still consume. They are in fact perfect consumers because they are acculturated. So instead of having your middle class saving money, you tax them, give the money to 2nd generation immigrants. The GDP growth keeps going on, added-value taxes keep flowing in, and we all can still pretend everything is dandy.

>Calling someone a communist for defending rural living and arguing against living in commieblock cities

You will be ousted first on the day of the rope, Schlomo.

barely making it where you live in a city
>why don't you pick up everything and move somewhere where you can get paid the third of what you get paid in the city but trust me it'll be great because there's a bunch of mexicans there that will do the same job as you but for cheaper and not pay taxes, you can you know learn spanish and be friends with all these mexicans and raise your kids with them
no
>well I guess we have to bring in more mexicans then

because its all the same
we brought in millions of "guest" workers from Roachestan back in the late 50s/early 60s
and they have yet to leave

Look you shill faggot - if you want to live a rural life you need skills and should also be able to employ yourself. Waiting around for a jew to finance a white collar job where you don’t have to get your dainty hands dirty is gay.

then just give up and go on welfare

>Guest workers
Nips are doing this too

Attached: Screenshot_20190405-112742_DuckDuckGo.jpg (720x1480, 414K)

>Only city people get their hands dirty

At least research your D+C shill propaganda next time, Rabbi. Real whites will commute if they have to, not live in your kiked cities.

Make your own government, faggots

No. Immigration helps three groups: landlords, business owners, and bankers. The increased demand for the same supply of housing drives up costs and gives the landlords more profit. The increased demand for jobs from more applications means business owners can pay lower wages knowing a replacement could take over if the worker complained. The increased number of people to lend to means more profit interest, and inflates away the value of existing money by adding more to the system through fractional reserve banking. If you are not part of one of those three groups (and even then, depending on your position in one of those groups it still might not be worth it) you are only hurt by immigration and have no reason to support it.

Larger households, more 1st Gen which usually are higher achievers than than following gens, more selective migration

There is a labor shortage. Nobody wants to die physical work. The thing is the new "migrants" dont either.

They will never leave. Its not going to happen. Hence I bought a house in the Czech Republic

Ill emigrate
i can do some dumb tech shit related
speak 2 foreign languages
i wanna live somewhere safe tho and aurrounded with white people and the occasional black chick

No. Muh labor shortage is a meme pushed by corporations to flood the market and import cheap labor.

I am a programmer and have seen firsthand companies cry "we need coders we just can't find coders please somebody learn to be a coder" so they lay off Canadians and replace them with pajeets. Wages used to be $80k+ a year and now they're $50-60k at best.

Let’s focus on the main problem here: most U.S. citizens are lil bitches who think they’re the bees knees and they grace every other person in this country by being alive, thus meaning that they think they’re too good for most jobs available out there today inadvertently causing them to become and stay unemployed.

>nobody wants to do physical work
because the pay is absolute shit
hell i'll quit my white labor job and start digging holes if the wage makes up for it
we only have a shortage of people willing to break their own back for pennies
rightly so

Job hopping comes at the cost of decreased stability in society. If you don't know where you're going to be working, you're less likely to commit to buying a house or having children. Property owners are usually involved in their bettering their community (after all, they are stuck there and don't want it to go down hill), whereas renters are more likely to just up and leave if things get bad. Basically the government has an incentive to have as many property owners as possible since they will do for free what the government would otherwise have to pay to do; take care of the community and area. It's the same thing with promoting children and marriages. Marriage is the oldest and most successful form of social welfare since it's two people combining resources to take care of each other. The government has incentive to promote that since married couples have a lesser chance of needing financial assistance and they'll raise the next generation of tax payers on their own dime instead of the government's.

They are importing millions of people to kill you. Nothing more, nothing less.

We need less people in the workforce, so the work gets paid more
Today we have so many people in the work force, and so many companies in the same branch, that many products dont get bought, they all have to share the market, its stressful for the company and the employees etc
Less people would mean the best would prevail while the others would fail, which would mean the people would scatter to other sectors, which would make it equal
I dont need 457 companies that make toilet paper, one is enough, the thing is, you have to make sure that they dont abuse their monopoly which a strong goverment, could easily do
Women out of the workforce, a stronger trade, lets say in the european union with local sectors, like hungary = food etc
A strong ethical goverment, that keeps companies in check to not abuse their monopoly
Thats my take on the economy

In manufacturing here.

There is a labor shortage. The lack of skilled people is hurting big time in a time when automation and sophisticated machines come into play. And it's not even about pay anymore. Most just don't want to come to this area because of the lack of other job prospects just in case mine doesn't work out. The rent is high, house prices are ridiculous (Even though I offer financial support for it), traffic is fucking horrible, healthcare is abysmal, giant fucking ghettos, etc. As for the labor shortage for cheap labor, that is more about pay than anything else as most can't even afford to fucking eat anymore, so most refuse job offers that are below 16 an hour here on average. Since I don't rely on cheap labor (my lowest payed guy is $22), it's not much of a big problem for me.

The labor shortage is real and it's being perpetrated by a lot of factors, from political to really greedy fuckwits. My labor force is 99% white or Asian and I don't pay shit wages or salaries, and I'm still making money because my productivity is high. Even my competitors who rely on cheap labor can't keep up with me. Quite frankly, the majority of businesses are fucking retarded. If you've been to meetings with these customers, these owners, these sales people, the parties, etc, you'll realize how fucking stupid these people are. It gets worse when you meet pajeets in the industry.

Our society is literally ran by dumbfucking aristocratic people and the labor force reflects this image quite well. I've tried to explain to my neighbor, who is in the paper business, about productivity and efficiency, better machines, etc, and it just flies over his head. He can't phantom how I make money with the salaries and wages I offer. I even helped him build two new machines (for free!) to help him and he can't even find an operator to run the machine properly, just hires dumb illegals who can't understand anything. He just doesn't gets it.

>because the pay is absolute shit
In the olden days, we used to tell poor students that "the world needs ditch diggers" as motivation to do better.
Now we give them government backed loans to go to 4 year university straight out of high school, which only graduated them so that they wouldn't still be there past 18.

I own a construction company and I can’t find shit for reliable help aside from amigos. I pay 20+ an hour. I don’t understand what the issue is.

>I don’t understand what the issue is.
Socialists inserted themselves into public school administration a couple generations ago
They vilified blue collar work
Told eveyone that they were special and hard physical work is beneath them, even if that would be a good opportunity for a lot of guys who would otherwise end up without prospects in the white collar world after failing in college

People also forget that landlords are organized are more like cartels ensuring a favorable market price

As I said in my previous post, the good labor has been chased out, quite literally by fuckwits who hired these amigos before for next to nothing. We are suffering the consequences of this decades later. Most of the good help don't want to come back to your area because it sucks, no matter what you offer.

This is enabled by minimum wage. Especially in California, rent and house prices are following minimum wage trends. When the landlord knows the vast majority is making minimum wage or close to it, you are at a disadvantage at the negotiating stage. And since a lot of landlords are chinks in my area, you can guess they want every penny you make.

Metal fabrication. You don't need college,it's always in demand and robots won't replace you.

>fuckwits who hired these amigos
also, have you seen how these amigos live?
dozens crammed into a single family home
they take the job because they are willing to live at levels white people would consider intolerable
your amigo's work is subsidized by their ability to live in squalor

I refuse to entertain the possibility that this post was written by a native English speaker.

And now the Amigos want over $20 an hour because they can't even afford to live in squalor anymore.

>it's always in demand and robots won't replace you.
maybe on-site steel workers
but not industrial production
you've seen an automobile plant, right?

We need white immigration to boost economic growth.
Paco, and his border jumping cousins that will literally work for chicken scratch are ruining our economy.

No legal immigration will not fix this problem as these people moving from insanely poor countries will still take the minimum wage jobs, and lower wages for skilled workers.

We need more immigrants from 1st world countries.
Not third world shit holes.
They bring the rest of us down with them

>Labor force has dropped only 4% in the last 30 years.

This. I guess I would be called a boomer now but this has been the majority of my time in the workforce. Many companies I worked for would either believe that $12/hr is still reasonable when it came down to new hires. also the fact that $30k/yr is still believed as a living wage.

Last company that I worked at quotes "Yes, you're salary but you're hourly salary.." what? After negotiating for a raise after 6 months because I exceeded the companies expectations I was told that "you're not worth $60k/yr.". After that I decided to show up when I wanted (coming in 3 times a week, for weeks on end) and did the bare minimum, stopped showing up to the office meetings and coming in around 11ish. No one said anything, no one would confront me about it. My paycheck didn't change. I knew that they needed me more than I needed them. I would show up at 11 and the owner would thank me for coming in, even after I left they said that I would be welcome back anytime.

>Tech work
>Surrounded by white people
Pick one

There's only one solution, boys.

As I'm in this manufacturing business, I can tell you automation is not a cure to labor issues. Unless you build your plant where skilled workforce exists in your area in mass, you're going to have major issues. I'm lucky because I've been able to convince people and friends to work for me. I've seen quite a few automated plants fail because of really dumb management and their reliance on service calls from a manufacturer who has to fly in people to fix your equipment, because their workforce is too tucking dumb to run or fix it.

Automation fails when you build your plant in an area devoid of smart people. I can guarantee you that if you built an automated plant in the middle of Mexico in some poverty stricken area, it's gonna fail. I see a lot of places on the brink relying on retired people that are an hour drive away. Just a matter of time they go down.

Kike it’s like you can’t even read

If there is a massive labor shortage, there would be a corresponding massive wage spike.

If there is no wage spike, there is no labor shortage.
If there is an oil shortage, the price of oil will rise
If there is a pork belly shortage, the price of pork belly will rise
If there is a FCOJ shortage, there will be a rise in the price of FCOJ

>it’s supply and demand baby

When our ever benevolent administrative overlords try to convince us that we need immigration due to a labor shortage all they are doing is trying to avoid a rise in the price of labor - because a rise in the price of labor benefits you at a cost to them, while immigration benefits them at a cost to you.

Attached: 80DAFAA0-FAA1-4CE1-82D7-9EDF3DF66626.png (541x477, 403K)

Wages have been rising for 18 months. If we could beatback the globalists who fight for massive immigration from the developing world, wages would skyrocket.

This isn't surprising to me and I've heard a similar story near me. And you want to know the sad part? They can probably afford to pay you 60k, they just don't want to or feel you're worthy of it. Meanwhile, when you quit, they start to realize what they have lost when the work starts piling up because you were a critical component to the logistics. The fact that they didn't say anything about you coming in late and cutting down your work proves this, otherwise they would have complained as they were afraid of losing you.

I've ran into owners also who think they own you for working for them. I've seen them yell and scream when one of their employees goes to work for a competitor for far more pay. They all think they're saving your life for the privilege of being hired by them and you owe them your life.

You'd be surprised how many in management don't understand basic supply and demand.

Let the population fall
Put the people’s will above the profits of companies
People want the population to decline

Yes, wages will rise, but the consequences are our reliance on decades of shit tier labor. We are going to see an increase in companies going bankrupt because pajeet management doesn't know what to do. I'm seeing a huge increase in people buying shit-tier Chinese equipment to try to counteract the costs. They just don't get it, they don't understand productivity.

How does being employed make you an expert in economics?
The tl,dr version is that YES we would have less material wealth without immigration.. but we also wouldn't have shitskins. So that's a decision you have to make.

Democratic capitalism will always lead to shitskins because people just want more "stuff" and have sold their souls/culture/people to this ideal.

This.
I don't think we are overpopulated because MUH CLIMATE CHANGE
But we definitely have too many fucking mouth breathers.

One thing Jow Forumsacks need to realize is that they are probably much smarter than the bosses and employers they are working with. Consider the implications of that and focus on using the opportunity to gain experience, knowledge, and stable financial footing - THEN MOVE ON. You are meant for better things.

Let's fucking hit the spics back and build businesses with automated lawmnowers.

Attached: 52508061_10215882647752252_5990920173178060800_n.jpg (640x421, 44K)

I've come from a school of thought to keep your good workforce, even despite economic woes. Once things get better, you're going to need them as finding people is difficult.

>companies going bankrupt
Good. That’s capitalism - we need to cull the retards so there is space for the competent

I hate that the same people will tell you that you're going to be replaced by AI and everyone will be unemployed in ten seconds.

See my post above as I mentioned aristocratic owners and managers. Most people would shit their pants at how dumb these people are. And anyone in this business in that type of position knows what I'm talking about.

Labor participation is down for several reasons - the biggest is baby boomers. They are a very large population bubble and have been retiring.

Next, you have a high rate of criminals, drug addicts, and degenerates. This correlates with an increased minority population.

Similarly, you also have a vastly increased underground economy. Most nigger, shitskin, and chink money is off the books.

Next, you have the high rate of mental illness in millennials due to their retardation. This can be addressed in theory.

Labor participation numbers, like all population-wide statistics, need to be broken up into their constituent parts in order to impart any useful information.

It is and I'm all for it. But if you run a business, you realize we don't really have much of a capitalist society, we have some mixed socialist world for the high earners and a fradualent feudalistic system for everyone else.

Just to give you an example, I still can't get real good credit for my business despite having millions in assets and a lot of money in my account. Meanwhile, I see other places able to secure multi-million dollar credit deals. I feel like I'm still the blacksmith.

This is why we have such low sympathy for intelligent white people who whine. There is no limit to your ability to rise if you have a 110+ IQ and good genetics.

People just don't get how inefficient everyone is on a daily basis. As a simple example, choosing to lightly jog from one location to another instead of walking cuts travel time in half. But nobody does it because they don't really feel pressured to. It's the same concept with meetings in white collar jobs, where everyone wastes time as a formality. When intelligent people are motivated and well-rested for their jobs, shit gets done, and it gets done well.

They have backers, usually family money. Go to more social events with the local banker crowd and make some connections.

We do not need immigration in the USA at all.
what so ever.

Stemming immigration will drive wages UP.
People will change professions within a few quarterly report periods.
Higher Wages = more Taxes paid and GDP will gain.

What are you some kind of idiot?

There's loads of job openings near me. They're mostly part time physical labor in a retail environment.

Im 25 and basically just entered the professional workforce, but Im positive were living in a golden age. Nationalist president, tax cuts, GOP senate and SCOTUS, low gas prices, booming energy industry, record low unemployment, rising wages, nearly a decade since last recession. Im sure we will look fondly on this period like Boomers like to fakememe about M-MUH RAEGEN YEARS, but we will actually mean it. My home state of Oklahoma is fairing amazingly well, and Im afraid it will shortly become Texas 2.0 because of it

The shame are the NPCs and plain lazy turds who either rage against the machine on behalf of kikes or are too uniformed to care. Going to let the glory days pass them by while they pretend progressivism is going to care and look out for them as they get older. Protip: Biden is a great example how leftists treat each other

>retail environment
Like Amazon fulfilment center?

>hell i'll quit my white labor job and start digging holes if the wage makes up for it

This. I'm a fair hand at carpentry, but I'm not going to quit my white collar job to become a carpenter. For I'd make a quarter of what I make now as a loicensed master carpenter. Unloicensed I'd be an apprentice for a couple of years and get maybe 1/6 of what I make now.

I might be happier as a carpenter, but I couldn't make ends meet that way. So ain't gonna happen.

I always refuse to go to meetings now with people because of how much time gets spent and nothing gets done. I do it with my people like once a month, but for the most part we're all caught up with each other because we actually communicate unlike other places. I don't want status reports, because it just wastes time in productivity, I just want to know things are done on time where I then have more predictability. For me, just asking my guy and getting a "we're half way" gives me enough to tell my customer it's going to be done on x day and 99% of the time it is.

I'm not one to mingle because it annoys the fuck out of me in this type of crowd. But they sure don't ignore me when I stomp one of their customers.

Not as bad a work environment, but essentially yeah, loading/unloading trucks, picking/palletizing/stocking. The problem is that while the jobs pay a little more than min wage, they don't offer steady hours. I started with one thqt had high turnover. Not difficult or soul sucking work like Amazon, but they told me 25-35 hours a week, and it turned out to be closer to 15-20

Meeting fags are the worst.

But its not news that 90% of production is done by 10% of employees. Dont get tricked into join the pitfall of mediocre employees. Keep learning, keep sticking out by comparison, and youll be the boss in the endgame.

>living in a golden age
Highest debt in the history isn't a golden age, user

I agree that the prosperity we are seeing is self evident and pretty great. However, Reagan, contrary to your implication, is God.
