My mom and dad are kinda racist not too the extreme and conservative. Now my grandma on my mom side is straight up racist and right wing.

No, the only female that really shaped my views was my high school government teacher who was hardcore libertarian. At the time we all joked about how we were being taught government by someone who hated it, but in retrospect everyone should be taught to be skeptical of both sides.

My mother tried to instill anxiety and fear of everything and everyone in me, and became an absentee parents when I was roughly 6 1/2 years old, my father was always that way. Yes, she did influence my views. She taught me how to command. I wouldn't be where I am nor have the personal ability without her. She also likes guns and dislikes browns. The idea that parents shouldn't be spending lots of quality time with their children is a modern one. A term like absentee parent might help to put a target on this behavior's back.

Ideally, parents who do not spend at least 5 hours of quality time (not on phone or glued to a screen) per day should be labeled absentee parents and lose some rights. Lemmings will complain, but it's good in the long-term.

Oh yeah, it seems like the vast majority of people had at least one absentee parent, but the term is seldom used. Just because it's "normal"/commonplace I think they don't see anything wrong with it, or like to focus on the more overt behaviors like physical or verbal abuse, instead of something more subtle, like absenteeism.

Not really. My mom is a brainlet lemming. She was a democrat because her parents were and then she became a republican because my father is. She acts racist but pretends otherwise and gets mad at me when I'm explicitly racist. Not that she didn't work hard or raise me right, she's a good woman and I go over and help my folks with things that my father is no longer able to physically do on his own. But she did contribute to my realization that even righteous women lack the self esteem and conviction to maintain their views and ideals when they are not socially acceptable. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you guys. My mom is deeply religious (whereas I'm not), so she's had a head start on me for a few things. But for the most part, once I started getting into politics, she started having SUPER similar opinions to me and my brother.
