Yet another judicial DEFEAT for Drumpf. Why is he so ineffective at dealing with the federal courts, Jow Forums?
>A federal judge in California blocked the Trump administration's policy of returning some asylum seekers to Mexico to await their immigration court hearing, delivering a major blow to the administration just a day after the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was forced to resign.
>The preliminary injunction from Richard Seeborg of the Northern District of California is slated to go into effect nationwide on April 12. The Migrant Protection Protocols program, informally known as "Remain in Mexico," was initially rolled out at the San Ysidro port of entry in January. Nielsen recently ordered that the policy be expanded along the southern border in an attempt to stem the flow of migrants to the border. Up to 400 people have been returned to Mexico under the policy, according to a DHS official.
>Seeborg found that the provision on which the government was relying was never intended to permit the return of asylum seekers to Mexico, and even if it did, the current screening procedures were not adequate, Melissa Crow, senior supervising attorney at the Southern Poverty Law Center, said in a statement.
>"Today's victory is especially important amidst reports that the Trump administration is planning to move toward even more extreme immigration policies," Crow said. "The decision will prevent incredibly vulnerable individuals from being trapped in dangerous conditions in Mexico, but it's only a step in a much larger fight."
>why are judicial appointments important? >why doesn't Trump just act like a dictator?
William Fisher
I hate this fucking krytarchy
Benjamin Bailey
The more judges abuse their power, the more they pave the way for dictatorship in the USA, because people will get pissed off
Elijah Nguyen

Sounds like yet another trip to the Supreme Court. There are no grounds for blocking this- none. These fag judges waste so much time.
Cooper Lee
Judge Seeborg was originally appointed to the federal bench in February 2001 - under CONSERVATIVE president George W. Bush. He's one of YOUR guys, and even HE thinks that Trump is a fraud. How do you explain this?
Anthony Ramirez
>under CONSERVATIVE president George W. Bush. He's one of YOUR guys But George Bush opposes Trump?

I think it’s nuts judges are fight to forigen nationals into our country at all. We already have a legal immigration system. Half the country voted for trump to curb migration. Why fight day after day Agaisnt your neighbors for people who aren’tcitizens?
Carter Morgan
There are only 2 options at this point. Trump is saving his idgaf for October 2020 or he already doesn't give a fuck and isn't up for the courts don't have any teeth fight. I'm still in the 2020 camp but I do wish he would just tell the courts to fuck off and start ordering his executive dept underlings to MAGA all the time. There's literally no recourse short of congress permanently neutering the presidency.
Gabriel Howard
WTF are you on about?
Easton Ross
Trump should ignore these petty court rulings. If that court ruling holds up with written law then that judge can pursue further action.
If that judge just issued a partisan fiat decree, they will do nothing.
Trump should recognize this.
William Jenkins
Because a country cannot be corrupt if the legal branch is working as expected. In all countries, the true corruption and true executive power lies with the judges, who oftentimes can have the job for life.
Nicholas Hall
The track record of these judges should be investigated.
If it turns out that they are based based on their decisions, they are not fit for the legal field, they should be fired.
There are basic legal norms judges should comply with. If they don't their licence should be revoked and they should be fired immediately.
Benjamin Long
>CONSERVATIVE president George W. Bush >one of YOUR guys
Congress is supposed to set immigration law, and they've given a significant amount of power to the executive branch over the years. Why is the jewdicary even involved in this?
Colton Thomas
Why do American judges have so much power over the executive?
