Do Ameribrapps really do those kinds of jobs? dress Up and play with signs?

How very sad that some are so desperate.

Usually it's either homeless people or underemployed wannabe (((actors))).

Sign ordinances prohibit placing a sign, but First Amendment says a person can carry a sign, so this job category was created.

Some poor bastards play for Canadian NHL teams knowing that they'll never get to lift Lord Stanley's Cup.

Its a good job for a 16 year old looking for work experience. I did it as a kid but holy shit there are a lot of crack heads and alcoholics that do these things as real jobs.

>Ameribrapps
This is new to me. Does this make me a newfag?

I have infinitely more respect for someone juggling a sign for minimum wage than some piece of trash panhandler

Just some Leaf faggot (redundant, I know) trying to be witty. Don't encourage it.

Even on this guy's piss poor wage, he can still buy at least a couple pounds of chicken breast for an hour's work. How's that make you feel, leaf?

They don't get drug tested.

Not only do we have people who do these kinds of jobs, those jobs force them to pay for their own sign.

we have these exact same people working for the same business doing the same sign flipping here, you ape

Why does anyone work a shit job? No options, no qualifications, no money. They’re taking what they can get. At least they’re working.

One day you can even become a professional sign spinner.

>businesses get tax credits for hiring excons, mentally disabled, homeless, etc.
>give them a humiliating job where there's basically no possible way they could steal from you or otherwise significantly damage your business
>worst case they run off with a worthless pizza sign or start jerking off on the street corner

Sounds like a win-win to me

ahh the ol legal loophole to advertise on a street without a permanent sign

advertising genius

ironically, if companies could, they would pay wa more just to install a billboard in his place

i used to work at a subway, and the kike owner paid $600 for this fucking thing and we were supposed to take turns dancing on the street corner in front of a main road. luckily, i was too fat to fit inside. 3 people quit after doing it once.

It seems some people are easily amazed.

That's pretty harsh, man.
Have a least a little pity for the poor starving canuks.

This and they pay them quite good.

why won't they show the in-store breadstick prices

It's a perfectly honorable profession.

90% of these people that do this, are just laughing the whole time, high out of their mind, listening to music with earbuds on. They are getting paid $8 an hour to stand with a sign, and act as goofy and high as possible to drivers and pedestrians. It's not as bad as it sounds. No boss or quotas either. Just smoke a joint every 2 hours, listen to some tunes, and dance.

in canuckistan the price is $45

It's amazing that he tries this hard at a shit job that pays nothing.

Once I had to do that when I simply couldn't find other work. I wore a giant ridiculous Mickey Mouse knock off suit and had to hold a big plastic sign over my head in the hot sun all fucking day. It felt like some kind of modern crucifixion. Even in that moment I understood the absurdity of how low I had become, and of the peculiar, almost parodic kind of humiliation I was being subjected to. I would at times be overcome with fits of deranged laughter. I miss those days
