I had to take one to get my master's degree. It was full of and taught by people who buy into things like racism is about power so whites are the only ones who can be racist. Another major theme we had to talk about and shit was how minorities are in a fishbowl made by white people or something and its our job to free them from their fishbowl to enjoy the world. I ended up cracking and asked my lecturer after class this. "If everything is so great and I am all powerful for being a white male, what compelling rational can you offer me for wanting to actively work against my own interests? I never got my answer either.
