What do they think when they walk down the streets of the old town, only to see the lion of St.Mark and ancient venetian family crests carved out of white stone?
How can they think any of that belongs to them?

on basis that we live here and we lived here since 7th century. Italians were always minority. There were native romance speaking dalmatians in coastal cities but they were assimilated into Croats by 19th century.
