Omnism is the true path. All gods were egregores once. Mooch was a deity once, but the egregore known as El Shaddai consumed his power and made him a lowly demon (check the goetia). Once enough entities were consumed (including the Greek and Egyptian gods), El Shaddai ascended from am egregore to a godhead. This is not Gnosticism, as humanity is not capable of such a feat while encased in flesh. Intuition tells me the current godhead is a revivification of the goddess Techne.

Well, yeah, I don't think contemporary physics has all the answers and clearly something along the lines of the electric universe is being covered up and replaced with meme science to arrest development. Things started going south with the Copenhagen interpretation and whatnot.

You can study the history and persons involved with certain things. For instance, theosophy, the new age, wicca, all were pushed by people with immediate connections to the highest levels of society... Kabbalah, too. Hell, even hermeticism (its "rediscovery").
As for science, well, some dissenters have questioned contemporary physics dogma, but it's a real minefield of stuff unless you have a good understanding of atomic mechanics and math.
