Yesterday the scientific consensus was that there were 15 types of human species to ever walk the earth. Now they are saying 16. I don’t understand. Neil Degrease Tyson said that scientific consensus is never wrong and that whenever he says something civilization must stop what ever it is doing and unquestioningly implement all of his recommendations regardless of the feasibility, economic implications and potential for unintended consequences. Is this just a one off goof by the scientific community? Or could their consensus be wrong on other issues as well?
