Well if you know Aquintis and Augustine, they are the reason why Plato and Aristotle both have a huge influence in christianity. Aquintis was the guy who went through Aristotle's writings when it was being translated in france in the 1200's (yes it took over 1500 years for Aristotle to be discovered in europe)
Plotinus and Neoplatonism both had quite an impact on Augustine and many of his arguments for faith and god was based on the works of Plato. Really it comes down to Aquintis and Augustine.
